We were attending our son’s wedding at Northern Haus. The home was so clean and layout was fantastic! We appreciate all the upgrades appliances and oh my goodness! Stocked with everything needed for dishes, laundry and personal shower items! Extremely clean! Location perfect!

Best hospitality you could ask for!

Erin and John went above and beyond to make this the most incredible stay for me and my girlfriends. They were available and highly responsive to communications, even offering recommendations and help wherever was needed. Thanks Erin and John for having us! We highly recommend The Sister Bay Haus to anyone looking for a great location and experience.

We have hosted an August trip for our adult kids in numerous places in recent years. They have all been nice but Erin and John's home tops the list. Staying here is like moving into a brand new, fully stocked home big enough for lots of guests.We loved everything - Lots of plates, coffee cups and glassware for a large groupA large, clean, working grill Charging plugs for our electric cars4 bathroomsFabulous location near mini golf, trails and downtown Sister BayHuge comfy back porch Lovely fire pit area that we used twiceEverything was new and clean. In their description, the hosts don't mention all the kitchen appliances but there were lots of useful surprises in the cupboards and all looked very new. Only one caveat, if you plan on making blueberry pancakes, we did not see a griddle or a pancake flipper. Probably most guests go to a local Swedish pancake restaurant.Several of our guests used the sauna multiple times and loved it.The Haus has so many nice touches it's impossible to list them all. Just one example, I forgot to bring bandaids but no worries, they had some.

Simply amazing!

This was one of the nicest VRBO's we've ever stayed at. The home is set up for comfort and relaxing with a group, and feels truly high end. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need for making meals (or treats!), we could sit our entire group comfortably in the family room in the downstairs level, it was an easy walk to the main area of Sister Bay and an easier drive. The communication from the host was incredible, with all of the information needed to access the home amenities as well as great restaurants to check out (Thyme + Twelve Eleven was a great wine bar within a mile from the home). We didn't take advantage of the outdoor couch/fire table, or fire pit, but that is because we had just a short weekend and couldn't fit everything in. Our group is already making plans to try and stay here again this summer to enjoy the home, and Door County, in warmer weather.

We had the BEST time staying here! It was perfect for our Door County girls weekend. The amenities are perfect. The house was clean, cozy, and so accommodating. We will be back!
