At Serendipity, experience our "tabins". Each tabin has 3-4 metal framed beds with NO electricity. Take advantange of the fire ring and outdoor kitchen with sink, refridgerator and electicity. Nearby is the camp bathhouse with 4 toilet stalls and 3 shower stalls as well as a handicap toilet and shower. Electricity is provided.

Kids had so much fun, enough space for them to run, and play without disturbing anyone. Kitchen area was big enough for everyone. They have enough space for a big reservation, will definitely come back.

If you are looking for rustic this is it

We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed at Serendipity, a unique area in the back of the camp so we had a lot of privacy. I was skeptical of the "tabins" because not the best pictures online but was pleasantly content when we got here. They were spacious enough to accommodate and the beds were fine. It's not the cleanest, but as long as you bring a sheet and/or sleeping bag to place on top of the mattress it was quite comfortable. We swept out the tabins when we got there, hung our lanterns up and placed our camping rug down and made it our own. The only concern was the wasp nests, each tabin had at least 4 nests inside and at least one on the outside. We didn't bother them so they left us alone, we only entered when going to sleep so they were asleep pretty much as well. There was plenty of wood for the fire pit and if more was needed there is plenty in the surrounding woods. The pavilion area was great! Full size fridge w/ freezer, a sink with hot water, plenty of electrical sockets and lights and a propane stove with plenty of propane. The bathroom is huge, I think there were 4 showers and 3 or 4 toilets. Plenty of sinks with mirrors. Again not the cleanest but we didn't come for that, we wanted the camping experience w/o having to set up tents and having to use several coolers to keep our food and drinks cold. There were a total of 18 people so we used all 7 buildings. It was a great Labor Day weekend with wonderful memories at Serendipity. We will definitely come again!

Thank you for your review! We will look into those wasp nests for sure. Being a secluded unit, those uninvited visitors make themselves at home quickly and without knowledge in most cases. We do try to keep up with the cleaning, but it is a rustic campsite that is at the mercy of the weather between cleaning and check in. Im so glad you did enjoy your stay and hope to see you again.
