Wonderful Host, ideal location, very clean inside, you can see they have worked very hard to get the home a fresh new look inside. Heidi has thought of most things needed for your stay away from home to this Gorgeous location. Comfortable beds,, Very nice sitting area in the front of the house for a relaxing rest as well. Access to lake and beach a short walk to a VERY CLEAN CLEAN Keyesport Boat launch, restrooms, fish cleaning station, playground, or the view of all the boats in the Marina. Many sand beaches on the North end of the lake.House is, as noted, very boat friendly parking. Next door is also a very cute property they have, which also looked great from the outside. Quiet neighborhood, very friendly locals.

Great little lake house

Stayed for a fishing tournament and it was great! So nice to have a quiet place to relax and refuel!

Clean and convenient for lake access

If you are looking for basic accommodations with easy access to the boat ramp and beach on Carlyle Lake, this rental meets the need. Pros: Very clean, easy keypad access, just a few minutes to walk to the beach, solid assortment of kitchen supplies, plenty of extra blankets. Cons: Keyesport is a very rural community that is sadly run down in some areas. The street where this rental is located has a mix of nice homes and abandoned buildings. While the decor in this rental is outdated, it is well kept to support basic needs. We have three teenage girls, so having only one mirror in the whole place made it a bit challenging for us. An end table for the lamp and coffee table in the living room would make a world of difference for creature comforts. All in all, it’s a convenient and clean place to hang your hat if you are wanting to spend time at the lake.

Thank you so much for your review. This house defiantly needs updated and we are hoping to make it happen in the next year. I get the mirror issue and that is something I hadn’t thought about, I ordered several for other VRBOs and for some reason didn’t think of getting one there. I will take one out this week. I have coffee tables for the house and have been putting off taking them out because we are planning on tearing out all the carpet and installing laminate. I will have to take them out there to make things more comfortable.
