Fantastic week in the low country. This cottage had phenomal relaxing marsh views. Very peaceful, clean and stocked with every thing we needed.

Beyond perfection! Everything from shopping, gas, grocery, restaurants, outdoor activities are so close. The place is paradise and all I can say is, "hurry and book this gem of a place".

Host was fantastic and the cottage was a one of a kind getaway. only had 4 nights but felt like we were away for two weeks given the relaxing stay.

Beautiful Location

We had a fantastic stay at Peter's cottage. Beautiful location, quiet, secluded, and comfortable. It is away from everything and at the same time convenient to shopping, restaurants, and more. Would love to come back

Peaceful Haven

This beautiful house was perfect to escape and unwind. The house was nestled in the woods with breathtaking views. Peter and his family were so very pleasant to deal with and very accommodating. Will definitely stay there again.

Great low country cabin

We really enjoyed our stay - beautiful house right on the water. Exactly as advertised. Nicely secluded but close to many things to do in Bluffton. Easy to communicate with the owner.

Our visit to The Devil's Elbow Cottage was everything we expected and more. When choosing this property, we were looking for a stay in the midst of nature, off the beaten path, secluded and private, and one that allowed us to really experience the wildlife and landscape around us. This was the perfect property in every way to meet all of those goals. My husband and I very much enjoyed the peace the marssh had to offer, from the rain on the rooftops, to the bird songs of the wetland. We absolutely loved our stay in the cottage, and enjoyed its proximity to the Bluffton area for history, culture, food, and shopping, as well as the ease of travel to local beach access and all.of the things to do in Hilton Head. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary during our visit and hated to leave. We will be back, hopefully. Our host was extremely kind and accommodating, very comminative and helpful, and the cottage itself was such a beautiful gem!

Our family had a great time at the cottage! It was a private, lovely place in great condition. Very convenient to all we wanted to do. The host couldn’t have been more responsive. Excellent rental!

Charming Cottage in a beautiful setti g

This cottage was perfect. Clean, fresh, wonderful space plan and interior. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cottage. The Host was always responsive and a very nice person. Absolutely recommend this rental.

Natural Paradise

Return stay at one of the most amazingly pristine paradises anywhere. Spectacular natural setting. Dirt road to the private island leaves civilization far behind, leaving only sights and sounds of nature.

Paradise

My husband and I have been coming here for 4 years, we come here to just enjoy the quietness and tranquility. We do some fishing off the dock, we have seen dolphins swim by, caught a few shark, saw armadillo, deer, crocodile. Great trip! Owners, Peter and Leisa great! Thanks for sharing!

Peaceful getaway

Wonderful place to hideaway in a world of your own! So peaceful and beautiful, loved seeing all the wildlife even saw a little gator ! The host was extremely nice and answered any questions we had without hesitation.I would love to return!!!!

Beautiful & Peaceful!

The cottage was perfect for our family of four. Spectacular views of the marsh, access to fishing and plenty of opportunities for walking, biking and exploring the surrounding property. The cottage had everything we needed and the screened in porch was amazing. Peter provided lots of great information about the surrounding area. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful, serene, natural setting

This VRBO is exactly as advertised. The home is lovely and set-up perfectly for a family, couples, or small group of friends. The location within Bluffton is great - everything is accessible, and Hilton Head Island isn't far either. The best thing about this rental is the setting - you're in the marsh, near a river, and birds and other wildlife abound. My kids and I loved every minute of this vacation and 100% will rent this place again!
