Excellent views of the ocean/beach and easy access to the beach from private boardwalk. Loved the room arrangement with bedrooms on first floor and all living areas on the second floor. Lots of amenities including outdoor shower with hot water, a cart to use to move your stuff to the beach, a couple of bikes to use if you wanted. House is conveniently located to restaurants and shops. Great hot tub. Definitely would stay here again

Great family spot!

Such a wonderful location with a great beach setting! Loved the beach, the bikes and the hot tub!!! So fun!!

Beautiful, peaceful retreat

We loved our stay at Moonshadow! The location is quiet, and the house was absolutely beautiful. The private walk to the beach was our main draw to this property, but it delivered in every way. When we head back to Nags Head, we’ll definitely be using this property again!

New to Nags Head

We so enjoyed discovering the Outer Banks and the surrounding areas. The house was comfortable and spacious. When needed, the management team responded quickly, which we appreciated greatly. We would definitely book in the area again.

The view of the beach was amazing from the deck! We loved the gazebo and boardwalk that led directly to the beach! We saw dolphins almost every morning while having coffee! The house was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. Location was so close and just a short drive to everything we wanted to do! The only thing I would have like to see was a better grill but that is only our preference. The hot tub was big and my family loved it! I would say that the decks and furniture would need an upgrade in the next few years. The furniture was fine but it was wicker and not as comfortable as a standard couch or chair. The railings on the decks just seamed a little old but there was nothing wrong with them. (Again just our preference) My family would stay again if we travel to NC again! Thank you!

Great spot for a last minute getaway. The property management team was excellent to communicate with - quick to respond and very helpful when we had questions. They sent out folks immediately to help us with a few small things after we arrived. The boardwalk and pergola from the house out to the beach was the primary reason we chose this house and it didn’t disappoint. It worked really well for our parents who struggled to walk over the dunes in the sand. We didn’t even end up setting chairs up on the beach because it was so easy to get from the pergola to the water and back. The views from the house were fantastic. Restaurants, shopping and activities were plentiful nearby yet the neighborhood was calm and quiet. Overall worked great for our needs. Thank you.
