The house was perfect for two little families to get away together. It was very clean and beautiful but still was kid friendly. The small kids loved the kids bedroom and didn’t want to leave. I would definitely stay here again

Beautiful views, great for our family getaway Thanksgiving! Had everything we needed. Kids enjoyed the foosball table and the sauna was a treat. Great paddle spot.

I cannot recommend this property highly enough! The home was beautiful, clean and provided everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We left a crate of our favorite games and the host mailed them at no cost to us. You must stay here!!!

Great beach and comfortable home

The home is lovely and comfortable. Parking tight but doable….no more than 3 cars! The beach is great with oysters and clams. The kitchen is well appointed! The host, Lydia, is very responsive!

Great water front home

We had 9 adults and one 11 year old. The place was great. We really enjoyed our stay. The portable mattress es were actually very comfortable for adults!! The communication was excellent. Fast and responsive

Wonderful family reunion on Hood Canal!

We loved this stylish house with a beach, kayaks, lots of lounging chairs, and great sunset views over the water. We dined outside and in, and the visiting little cousins enjoyed the "secret" kids playroom upstairs in an area with curtained along-the-wall beds for a family. It was everything as described in the VRBO listing -- and the weather cooperated with sunny skies, plus one short thunder storm for dramatic effect. Highly recommend it!

Beautiful location and great oysters

We very much enjoyed our stay at Fair Haven. The house was clean and well appointed. The kids loved having the upstairs room all to themselves and played as much foosball as video games. We also enjoyed the sauna and picking oysters fresh from the beach.The home was dog friendly; if you have a dog who needs a lot of walking there's not much space along the shoulder of the highway, so be prepared to drive to a dog park in nearby Belfair. We all wished that we had more time and better weather so that we could have tried out the kayaks - next time!

Nice remodel

Rare to find an updated house in hood canal. They did a nice job. And if you know Hood Canal south side, most houses are close to the road so no surprise. Nice outdoor area for summer use.

Husband and I planned spring break with our adult children, their spouses, our three grandchildren and two dogs. We all had an amazing and fun time harvesting oysters, which was in abundance, several times a day. The house was the perfect size for us. With the upstairs loft like bedroom with two twin beds, a queen bed and its own bathroom, it was perfect our daughter, her husband, her two boys and 5 year old daughter. The second bedroom on the main floor had a queen bed and was perfect for our son and daughter in-law. There was a bathroom with a shower on the main floor as well. Also on the main floor was the master bedroom for my husband and I, which had its own bathroom and shower.The top deck had a grill and the second deck had a good sized dog "park" which was a nice added touch. The bottom deck had a firepit, lounge chairs and a sauna!The only two things worth mentioning that can improve was 1.) The parking situation. It was hard to maneuver and back in because it was a very tight squeeze. We had three vehicles and had to park bumper to bumper to barely get the cars parked in the small space. Backing in made it easier to leave, but it was very difficult to back in, especially as the sun went down and it got darker. 2.) One of the burners on the stove only worked at 1/2 capacity.All in all, we had a wonderful experience. The host was checked-in regularly and was very quick to respond whenever I reached out! The house was lovely and provided easy access to rocky beach. Check-in was a breeze and host was quick to answer any questions. A/C was nice to have as the temps were above 90. Only issue was bed upstairs was missing privacy curtains and there were no blinds or curtains on windows, so it was fairly bright in the early morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
