Inside, you'll find a cozy primary bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, while the second bedroom features a full-over-full bunk bed, perfect for children or friends. The family room offers flexible sleeping arrangements with both a queen sleeper sofa and a separate twin sleeper sofa.


Step outside into the backyard oasis, where you'll discover a 40-foot dock, inviting fire pit, a six person Master Spas hot tub for relaxation, and a raised deck that offers breathtaking views of the lake. Unwind in one of the hammocks during a midday siesta, sizzle up a delicious dinner on the grill, and witness the mesmerizing moonrise over the glistening waters. Fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the waves gently crashing against the rocks, as the cool breeze wafts through an open window.


For those seeking adventure, we have you covered. Take advantage of the two kayaks, two paddle boards, and provided life jackets for exciting water exploration. We VRBOat least four times per year. I am a self-described expert at finding ideal properties. Husband and I travel with our golden retriever. He’s a seasoned traveler, so we appreciate homes that allow well-behaved dogs. We also appreciate homes that don’t smell like dogs or have evidence that dogs have been here in the past. This house excelled in both areas.The location was excellent. It’s on a quiet street on the northern end of the city. Five minute drive to grocery store, restaurants, and a 10 minute drive to Neenah, which is a community just to the north of Oshkosh.The property is picture perfect. The neighbors were pleasant, but very private, which we very much appreciated. Walking our dog on the quiet street both day and night was enjoyable. If you’re looking for super loud late night partying outside, this is probably NOT the spot for you. This home is an older cottage where the historical features have been maintained, complimented with beautiful new additions.When reading about this house before booking, I thought the reviews were too good to be true… But they’re spot on. Pros: fast internet, amazing views, well stocked, comfy beds, responsive owners, picture perfect setting, great outdoor space, super clean, well laid out, great washer/dryer, ample space inside, no clutter, super hosts, perfect space.Cons: nothing!If considering booking this house and it’s available… grab it!!! You’ll be glad you did. We cannot wait to return

This place is really perfect . The sunrises and moonsets were spectacular! Close to downtown with terrific walking trails and parks. The kitchen was very well stocked and the s'more bucket was a sweet touch. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. The owners were very responsive and kind. We will be back!

Great Cottage!

This was the nicest cottage we have rented. My sons and I have been coming to Wisconsin for years to fish and renting cabins. Robins nest was in a great location on the lake and the ace was clean, well furnished and cozy.

Perfect Getaway

This was a great place to get away! The house was perfect for ourselves and our kids. It was clean and had all the comforts of home. The lake was perfect for wading or floating on the paddle boards provided by the hosts. The hot tub had plenty of room for us and was accompanied by impeccable views of Lake Winnebago. We will definitely be returning!!

Great Lakefront Rental

This place has everything you need for a fun stay. The house is immaculate and offers all the amenities. Enjoy the kayaks and paddle boards, games and comfortable beds. Highly recommend.

We had an excellent stay at Robin’s Nest and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area! It was clean and cozy with incredible lakefront views of Lake Winnebago. Every major amenity you would need is available to you. Also, the dogs loved it! They had beds, toys and bowls waiting for them. There is also a very nice lakefront trail about 5 minutes from the property to get their walks in. The hosts are communicative and helpful as well! Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house! Very comfortable with nice decor and modern amenities. We felt right at home and everything was accurate as listed. Communication from owner was great and any questions we had were answered quickly by text. We loved that they allowed dogs and had everything our pup needed, even toys. The hot tub was also wonderful. Would stay here again!

Beautiful and Relaxing

The cottage was clean, comfortable and easy to relax in. Loved looking at the lake from the deck. De-stressed in the hot tub. Felt right at home. We will VRBO this again!

Perfect Waterfront Retreat

The location is amazing and the neighborhood is peaceful. We really enjoyed our time here sitting out on the dock relaxing. I can't think of anything that was missing. They have done a terrific job of making sure all of your needs are met and they are wonderful hosts. Can't wait to visit again.

Stayed for weekend wedding

The owners were very easy to communicate with. The house was very secure and easy to get into. Sadly it rained during our stay but the house is right on the lake and very beautiful & cozy. They had everything we needed such as coffee, dishes, pillows, etc. very pet friendly too!

Wonderful Lake House

Robin's Nest has everything you could possibly need, from fire starter to dog treats to outdoor yard games and kayaks. They've thought of it all! Beautiful setting on Lake Winnebago -- make sure you see the amazing sunrises!

Had a wonderful time. Hosts were very nice. Communication was outstanding. The cabin felt homey and was very dog oriented. It was nice to have our dog welcome and spoiled by them. The games and entertainment was phenomenal. Had a great time playing alot of them. Would stay again.

Paul and Robin were great communicators. They responded quickly to any questions. The house is exactly as described. Beautiful view, great deck, fantastic hot tub, super comfortable bed and great pillows! We felt welcome and the fur babies did too.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We made a last minute trip up to Green Bay and decided to stay at this lovely property on the lake. There were beautiful views onto the lake - we watched the sunrise most mornings. The hot tub was super relaxing. The neighborhood was quiet and quaint. This house is perfect like us that wanted to take our dogs on vacation with us. There were extra toys, snacks, and the ability to tether our pup to let her explore freely. Would love to stay here another time when it is a bit warmer to go kayak and paddleboard out on the water.

Fully Loaded Paradise

Pictures and details are completely accurate! This is a great property with wonderful hosts. We worked through an issue with running power out to the boat for charging. The hot tub is phenomenal and a wonderful end to a full day on the lake. Table tennis offered a great game for the whole family to enjoy. The queen sleeper sofa is in the perfect position for beautiful sunrises! So convenient to have the dock and thanks for keeping it in for us at the end of the season! Highly recommend!!

Would definitely recommend.

The house sits on a quiet road, the pictures in the listing are completely accurate. Paul was a quick responder to any questions I had. Check in was smooth and flawless. We (pup included) enjoyed the house,yard and dock. The house was spotless when we arrived and had everything we could need. The kayaks, paddle boards and ping pong table were a huge plus. We enjoyed the Oshkosh outdoor market and dinner at Gardina’s. If you are looking to stay in Oshkosh, I highly recommend this property.
