Hi Paul, We're very sorry that you had a less than stellar experience. We're sorry that you did not let us know about any of these items during your stay as we could have helped to remedy these issues for you. (For example, the front door light is in working order and we could have had it set on the timer for you - some guests prefer it off just to keep away summer bugs.) We will check on the fireplace - and could have had this repaired very quickly due to our relationships with our repair folks. If there was specific items missing in the kitchen, we would love to know. We have normally had comments that it was very well stocked, and have in fact done things like dropped off little extras when guests were looking for something specific like chopsticks. For the windows and small upstairs deck, we will let our cleaner know to take a look at these and give another cleaning. It can be difficult in the warmer months to keep them pristine due to being by the water - it attracts lots of flora and fauna. Thank you again for your feedback and we wish you would have let us know during the stay so we could have helped make it better as we pride ourselves on our guests having a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
