We had such an amazing time staying for the mt Dora craft fair. Lois and family are amazing hosts. Perfect communication. The property was impeccable and made our 1st trip to Mt Dora so rememberable.

This is a beautiful place to stay! It had everything we needed and the hosts were very kind. The location was conveniently located to many attractions and only 2 miles to Mount Dora. We’d love to stay there again some time.

A great little place close to everything!

The suite was very nice and we really enjoyed our visit. I highly recommend it if you are coming to the Mount Dora area.

We just LOVED this little oasis!! Everything was perfect! If you are booking you need to stay here! All the detail put into the decor is perfect! We absolutely loved the water color paintings done by the host throughout the place! The bed was so comfy! Best sleep! The hottub out back with all the beautiful plants and foliage, just beautiful and so relaxing!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR AND INCREDIBLE STAY LOIS AND HARRY!!

Very cute and quaint little place. We were surprised at how tall the ceilings were which made it feel much bigger. Only complaint I had was it gets pretty bright in there in the mornings so bring your eye masks if you need it more dark.

Was very pleased with our stay. The host was excellent. She was there for any questions that we needed. The home was very clean, comfortable and in my opinion upscale.

exactly what we needed for our visit in town. Very nice hosts, and the place was very comfortable. Can't think of anything it lacked, just right! Will definitely state again if in the area.

The apartment was very cute and clean. The location was great for me. The hosts were friendly and available if I needed anything. I will stay there again if it’s available.

Cozy and quiet guesthouse in a quiet neighborhood. Artistic decor. Hot tub available, although we did not have chance to try it. Host is welcoming and communicative. Quick drive to Mt Dora. Great stay!

Loved our stay here. The host was very accommodating and helped us immediately when I was checking in and (my fault) had a bit of trouble getting into the suite. We loved the decor and the hand painted welcome card. Hot tub was perfectly clean, good coffee and all the bathroom amenities were great (conditioner, shampoo and blowdryer). The backyard is really nice. Would stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Eustis or Mount Dora.

Wonderful cottage!

Lois has really thought of everything here. The decor was beautiful and much more elevated than most rentals we've stayed in. The bedding was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well stocked, the kitchen was adorable and had everything you could need. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect private guest house

We had such a relaxing weekend at the Fahnstock Street Oasis. Lois has truly thought of everything. The guest house is quiet and beautifully decorated and close to Mt Dora. The attention to detail is amazing, we would definitely book again. Thank you for being such wonderful host!

Your beautiful place

Everything was perfect. Except we wanted to go in the hot tub and all the lights were out a 9:30-10.Hopefully next time we can send a request!!

Hi Jill glad you enjoyed your stay but I have to say that the hot tub can be used anytime. I have instructions on where the lights are and how to use it. Sorry you didn’t see that and get the use of the hot tub also when in use there are lights in the hot tub as well. I was only a text away to help you out.

Great Place to Relax

My Fiancé and I needed a little getaway and what better place than our Favorite Mount Dora. Our Charming Cottage was Darling, with everything we needed provided, not to mention the art and furnishings which were stellar. Thank You Lois & Hubby, you both are Beautiful People. This Lovely Cottage is a 10 on the Awesome scale. God Bless ~ Raymond and Katherine.
