The place was spotless and very well kept. The staff was courteous and helpful. The hostess was always available. The beach view was as promised and didn’t disappoint with the sounds of the waves lapping against the beach. It was perfect in every way with perfect sunsets each evening. I would request this location again & again. The balcony had a perfect view of the bay.

The condo was beautiful and the host was excellent. Becky responded to every question we had and the condo is in an excellent location within walking distance from everything. I highly recommend this condo.

Plaza Mar is our go-to while visiting PV. The rooms are amazing, the views from the 5th floor up are spectacular and the location really can't be beat. Anything & everything is just steps away. We've stayed in many units in Plaza Mar & they're all just wonderful, including 501.Thank you for sharing your condo - we had a ball & will see you again!

Very tidy, secure building in an excellent location right at the beach and among many restaurants. The pool area on the roof was nice. The host provided all needed information well before the checkin. Fans and air con helped keep things cool when needed. This was a good place for a week vacation in PV.

It was nothing short of excellent. Space is exactly what you see in photos, great staff, secure building, and amazing view. The pool was a wonderful to dip in daily.

We absolutely love this place. It’s perfect. Location, the condo and its decor, the people that work there. It’s our second time staying there and we will be definitely returning. The hostess is great. Responds immediately and keeps you updated. Love. Love. Love this place

Spectacular View

Location, location location. This condo has the perfect view and of course, the perfect location. Close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. A very comfortable condo. Only complaint is the water for showers doesn’t get very hot.

Great location!

Very cute unit. A little dated but has that Mexico look and feel. Pool on the roof very nice with a great view. Perfect location - sit on the patio at hear and see the ocean. Everyone that worked there were helpful and friendly. Near many great restaurants. Walking distance to everything you could possibly need. Check out the art fairs on Saturdays from November thru April at the center across the street.

Fabulous Location

I would give this 10 stars. So comfy and immaculately furnished. Felt like home away from home. This condo is a must stay. So close to everything. And the sounds of the waves every night was soothing and magical. Will recommend to others and will definitely return. Check in was a breeze. And everyone was so kind and helpful. Thank you for all of the memories

Truly amazing condo to stay in! Has a gated entry, felt so safe. A front desk attendant at all times. The entire building was so clean and well kept, so beautiful too! The building is in the perfect location, we urban hiked each day, and so many choices of restaurants in close vicinity. The condo was exactly what we wanted, a touch of old Mexico, decorated so perfectly. Had all necessary spices and filtered water. This condo faces the ocean, we saw whales every morning enjoying our coffee (November 2025). The views from the balcony are outstanding. Communal pool on roof was perfect to chill in after a day of exploring. There’s a communal bbq and fridge up there as well. Again, the views from the rooftop were to die for. Watching the sunset from our balcony was a highlight. Highly recommend this place, will be back!

We spent 10 days at this jewel in "old town" PV. Within walking distance (meaning less than 10 mins) - the ATM, bakery, flowers, mini-mart(s), restaurants galore. Every morning we rose and walked the Malecon to the end and back (about 40 mins) of delight. The unit is as photographed, the bedroom in the back, away from the Malecon, but dont worry the waves and rolling rocks can be heard and will sooth your senses to sleep. Bring your tooth brush, toiletries and bathing suit - everything else is there!.Beach days - walk out the door and turn left or right your options are before you ... we chose La Palapa for our sun-worship - they have good eats and libations, and their loungers are in great shape.Fishing? Head to the Playa de la Muertos pier and haggle - If you see the Josefina, Carlos the captain will treat you right! Enjoy! Dance! Live! Beautiful stay in PV

This is a quaint and beautiful little condo right on the beach in the romantica zone! It is very clean and authentic (not overly modern like a lot of other places). Inside the condo it is quiet and beautiful and you are only steps away from the malecon and the bustling activities around! The hosts were absolutely wonderful! We would definitely stay here again!

Great, fun location for our first time in PVR!

We visited PVR for the first time with our 18 year old son and we absolutely loved this condo over looking the beach and close to some excellent restaurants and breweries! Our planned activities were easy to get to via Uber or taxi. The staff was great- very helpful. Loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean every night.

Location and view

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in 501. The condo and building were very clean and the condo was outfitted with everything we needed. You can’t beat the view and location. We hope to return soon!

Plaza Mar 501 Zona Romantico

Thanks very much Becki and Steve for sharing your Condo #501 again. Plaza Mar is a great location in the Zona Romantica on the Malecon across from the beach. Enjoyed lots of great restaurants nearby. This is our return visit and hopefully more in the future. Many thanks to the excellent and helpful staff.

Romantico zone getaway.

Thanks very much Becki and Steve for sharing your Condo #501. We appreciated your updated and sensitive renovation to the condo while keeping with the Mexican aesthetic. Your attention to detail in the unit, particularly in the bathroom and kitchen was much appreciated. The condo binder of restaurants and excursions was very useful. We visited many of the local restaurants, as well as the Botanical gardens. Many thanks for the helpful support of all of the cleaning staff and front desk staff. And thanks for your tipping guidelines. In the end, we exceeded those suggestions when leaving tips for the staff!

Don't Look Any Further!

We have stayed in 501 many times and the owners always keep the property in great shape! Recently (as in the last few months) redoing the bathroom and retiling the entire condo floor! Plenty of cooking utensils. Good storage, pool towels, plenty of books, dvds etc. But honestly we NEVER turned the TV on because of the view. Lots of time people watching and soaking in the fresh air on the balcony. Plenty of naps on the couches just inside. Perfect location for shopping, eating out and just exploring old town. Staff at Plaza Mar are attentive and always happy to help. If you're looking for a place that feels like the "real Puerto Vallarta place to be" this is it!

Perfect condo if you want that authentic Mexico feeling!

We had the best stay at this little gem of a condo. Everything was perfect and I am so happy I went with this one! This is exactly what my family and I were looking for when we decided to extend our stay off of a resort in downtown PV. Becki was super accommodating with our last minute reservation! The front desk staff were so nice and helpful and we never felt unsafe. The view was amazing and it was never too loud! My only complaint was that we had to leave! We will definitely be back.

We hit the jackpot!

Felt right at home with the beautiful decor. Especially loved the view! Would recommend this amazing property for any couple! We feel we hit the jackpot! Being right on the Malecón made it SPECIAL. Walking distance to all of old town. Great restaurants right near by. Wow.
