Our family had a great stay at this property. The house was very clean and nice. Great family hang out spaces, well stocked kitchen, great bathrooms, all around no complaints at all. Now...here is why you NEED to stay here - this is more than a house, it is a beautiful property with a serene pond and gardens right outside the front door. A fire pit, large (human size?) chess board, outdoor tables, AND...AND...a few chickens, peacocks, bunnies, and more to enjoy. It was SO cool! We will be back when we visit family again. Thanks for a great stay. Photos are truly accurate and better than what I took personally.

Oasis in town

My family just loved the property! There was so much to keep my kids busy outside and inside! And it was even more beautiful in person than the pictures showed! I especially liked how private it felt. We were minutes from any store, but we felt like we were in the country. We would definitely stay here again.

Accommodated our late booking. Quick response to all communication. The house is close to everything we needed. Weird place in a fun way… turkeys, peacocks, a rabbit, other critters and the cat (Chase always wanted to get in the house).

We rented this house as an extended family vacation. We had 4 “parents”, 2 18 year olds and a 12 year old. The “lake” was what got our attention but turns out it is more of a pond and you can not swim in it. You can kayak/paddle board though. The hot tub only was warm enough to use for one night, the third night we were there and it was warm at 97 degrees. Still enjoyable though. This house has no A/C and we were there in August and had to use and buy fans just to keep it livable. The water pressure in the main bathroom wasn’t very good either, we ended up sharing the shower in the master because of water pressure. I would say we enjoyed all of the wild life, turkeys, peacocks, rabbits, emus, chickens and the fact we could spread out. I would’ve loved to have another full bathroom or bigger master bathroom for our crew, and definitely A/C! We had a great little vacation in a quiet oasis though.

Great gathering for family

House was in a great location, inside was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the nature on the property. Only suggestion would be to have more serving bowls in the kitchen. We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and we had a family BBQ one evening and we really enjoyed the outdoor spaces and fire pit. We would stay here again.

The property is so gorgeous. Private and spacious, beautiful upgrades and activities! A very beautiful mix of many kinds of rescue birds in an enclosure at the beginning of the property, with a cheeky little wild chicken that hangs out right in front. The host is responsive and very kind. We stayed here to be close to our wedding venue and the kitty outside ended up being my best friend and emotional support animal for wedding jitters! We'd definitely stay here again if we needed a comfy spot in the area.

A private getaway just outside the city!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this privately set property. We enjoyed being close to all the city amenities just a short car ride down the road while still feeling secluded on the property. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The house is open on the main level while still giving separation for kids to play and be out of the way of the adults. The outside of the house was inviting with multiple places to sit and gather while enjoying the scenery.

Tranquil Getaway

We had a wonderful stay. The home was clean, the beds and linens were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the home layout was terrific for our family reunion. The host was very attentive and responsive to any of our needs. The extra bonus was the property had a huge pond/lake which provided such tranquility and allowed my brother and wife (who bird watch around the world) an opportunity to take pictures of birds. On site there was a large pen with chickens, peacocks, a turkey and various beautiful birds which we really enjoyed watching. There was a game room amply supplied with games which we didn’t have the time to enjoy. It was a great stay!
