Great property! Hosts quickly addressed a couple minor issues. Loved the proximity to the beach access. House was spacious, clean and well stocked. Would happily stay here again.

Beautiful Location!

My family had a wonderful stay at the Three Mermaids! You cannot beat this location on Bald Head Island. The views are incredible and you are just steps from the beach. The owners were extremely communicative. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful location and great bedroom/bathroom setup for a family. The kitchen was extremely well stocked for cooking and grilling . The beach chairs, umbrellas and bikes were all in excellent condition. The owners were very communicative. We loved our stay!

We had the best week on Bald Head! We absolutely loved this house and the location. Being so close to the Shoals Club was amazing, and we loved having the beach right outside and such a beautiful view.The house had everything we needed—comfy beds, a newer 6-seater golf cart, lots of nice bikes, tons of newer beach chairs, books for the kids, board games, and it’s pet friendly too! The house was very clean, updated, and in great condition. Having memberships to both the Shoals Club and BHI Club was such a bonus. We enjoyed cardio tennis classes and the kids loved the water park and playground at BHI club.There is just so much to do on Bald Head—tennis, golf, pools, the huge beach, the turtle conservancy, nature walks, bike rides…we never ran out of things to do. The house is also not far from the market, which was really convenient.We just love Bald Head and already can’t wait to come back. Such a fun, relaxing week and a great house for a family trip!

Enjoyable time on a very wet week

There were heavy winds and rains and most everything on the island was shut down. So, we had lots of family time. Barbara did an excellent job checking on us and keeping us informed. The kitchen had everything we needed to enjoy our meals in. And the location of the house was perfect because it was right on the beach and allowed us to walk the beach between squalls.

Great house and location!

We stayed for 2 weeks with our children and 2 golden retrievers. Everyone (most of all the dogs) loved the direct, easy access to the beach. The property owner was quick and responsive with all questions and concerns.

Great place to spend a week at Baldhead

We had a great visit at Baldhead. This is our 10th year staying and this property was wonderful. Plenty of room for our family of five plus our dog. Easy access to beach. Great location.

Amazing property!

This property is in a great location and was incredibly maintained! I would totally stay there again, just want to note that there are a lot of steps which are very steep (as there are in many beach houses) in case you are traveling with anyone with mobility issues (as we sometimes do).

Beautiful Home - superb location

This was our first time on BHI, and we were traveling with a large group of friends -all of whom got houses at various points across the island. Our location excellent! So close to the Shoals Club, and a fair distance from the market, BHI Club, etc. It was nice not to be near the hubbub of the marina. The house was extremely clean - and the porches, w/ their views of the ocean, were just fabulous. We had a few interactions w/ David, the owner, and he was extremely helpful - even giving suggestions on things to do on the island, and sending us the local newsletter for the week of our trip. The keys can be a little tricky getting in/out, likely because of the sea air/salt, FYI. A great home & a lovely vacation!

Great Thanksgiving week!

Really enjoyed the getaway to Bald Head and this house was great for six adults and our pups. Very short walk to the beach with great views from the house. A great layout with a nice open floor plan. Nice six passenger golf cart made getting around the island a breeze! A+

Great vacation!

Our family totally enjoyed our stay. The house was in a wonderful location with easy beach access, and was very well furnished. We were able to relax and escape from our busy lives and reconnect with family. Thank you for providing a great rental experience!
