IL NOSTRO CONDO AGGIORNATO È GIUSTO SULLE PISCINE al 1 ° piano, con un grande letto king size nella camera da letto principale. Facile uscita alle piste (e al nostro parcheggio privato). È a pochi passi dal Village per mangiare / fare shopping tutto l'anno. Starbucks è a pochi passi fuori dal lodge. Il WiFi gratuito in camera mette a portata di mano il rapporto sugli sci del mattino.

Soggiornare al Mountain Lodge è la posizione più comoda sulla montagna. Check-in in loco e senza problemi ottenere le chiavi per il vostro condominio. Dirigiti verso il nostro cancello principale, dai il tuo nome al nostro addetto e ritira le chiavi alla nostra reception 24/7.

Questo condominio n. 170 a 2 BR / 2 Bath a Snowshoe Mountain Lodge si affaccia sul lago di Shavers e sul bacino da sci. La vista è così bella che alcune coppie scelgono di avere il loro matrimonio nel prato proprio sotto il nostro balcone. Completamente arredato e recentemente ristrutturato, c'è un LETTO RE nella grande suite principale, un letto matrimoniale nella seconda camera da letto e un nuovo divano letto matrimoniale per ospitare la tua famiglia. Una cucina completamente fornita fornisce tutti gli utensili e il nostro personale addetto alle pulizie e alla manutenzione può soddisfare tutte le vostre esigenze. C'è una TV a grande schermo da 42 'con lettore DVD nella zona giorno, ed entrambe le camere hanno anche TV a schermo piatto. Asciugamani e lenzuola sono forniti all'inizio del soggiorno. Non forniamo il cambio giornaliero di asciugamani / biancheria.

L'unità è SKI IN / SKI OUT (o BIKE IN / OUT), con armadietti per deposito bici o sci / snowboard disponibili per il noleggio all'ingresso del lodge, a pochi metri dall'ascensore Ballhooter.

Offriamo uno spazio facile da vivere. La politica vietata agli animali domestici / ai non fumatori offre ai nostri ospiti una stanza fresca ogni volta. In estate, le biciclette non sono ammesse nel Lodge, per aiutare a mantenerlo pulito.

La grande hall aperta con l'enorme camino è un ottimo luogo di ritrovo. Una sala giochi, un'area giochi per bambini piccoli e attrezzature per il fitness (entrambi a pochi passi dalla porta del nostro condominio) offrono alle famiglie Mountain Lodge molte scelte. Ore tranquille dopo le 22:00 offrono ai nostri ospiti un modo rilassato per prepararsi alle attività del giorno successivo.

I soggiorni di una notte sono consentiti nei giorni feriali. Se le condizioni sono giuste per un rapido viaggio di metà settimana, vogliamo darti la possibilità di colpire le piste secondo il tuo programma. I soggiorni di una notte nel weekend sono soggetti a disponibilità a breve termine.

Siamo a pochi passi dalle piscine Split Rock. Tuttavia, vi è una tassa giornaliera di $ 20 addebitata per l'uso.

very nice. Our only complaint is that the temperature control in the condo did not seem to work. Even when we turned the heat off, it stayed around 80 degrees. this was not terrible except when sleeping which was pretty uncomfortable.

Great location for kids

Obviously, the lodge is in a great location right on the slopes. However, this unit has an indoor playground and arcade right outside your door as well. In between activities it was really easy to let the kids go play in the building and be social with the other parents.

Many folks like the playground so near. Even with being close by, we’ve never had a noise problem from it, so it’s a great plus. I’m glad Andrew and his family could enjoy it.

Short walk to the slopes and village

Short walk to outside door that is right at the slopes!! We were right at the village with great shops and restaurants. We decided to rent a locker which was 15 a day just for convenience so we didn’t have to carry skis inside. The locker was right at the door leading to the slopes. The condo was clean and cute. Had a nice size master with full bath, another bedroom with a queen. There was a separate full bath and a nice sleeper sofa my 19 year old slept on peacefully!! The kitchen had everything you needed to cook Altho we did not use except for microwave. It also has a dishwasher. It was a nice place with ample room for the two adults and two teenagers! TVs in both rooms. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely stay there again!

When we arrived to the condo, the employees informed us the reservation was in an another name, and they could not help us. The owner (Kent) didn’t not answer phone calls, texts or VRBO messaging because he was out of the country on vacation. My family drove 4 hours, arriving in the evening only to scramble to find another place to stay that evening. I understand that mistakes are made, but for me and my family, this was a huge mistake that ended up costing us valuable time and terrible inconvenience. After two hours of trying to get a hold of the host, We ended up finding a place to stay that first night, but nothing by was available for all three nights of our planned trip. We paid out of pocket for another room that night. We then had to wake up early, check out at 8am. We ended up paying out of pocket for a second room for the last two night, but had to wait until 4pm to check in. So we were without room for 8 hours in the middle of our trip. It was a nightmare. So I cannot rate the room, although the lobby of this place was OK. I can unfortunately say the host screwed me and my family out of a good chuck of our vacation and our serenity. The host did message me the next day and apologize. Saying he thought he had all the reservations handled before he went on his international trip!

David had a right to be upset. I rarely make the mistake of not putting a reservation in the system, and I normally can respond and fix the issue quickly. However, as noted at the end of his review, I was without access to WiFi and cellular when the problem occurred and therefore could not respond to fix the issue. A lousy way to learn a tough lesson on my part, and I have apologized for my mistake.

Slopeside 2-BR condo at Mountain Lodge Snowshoe

First the really good: the location. Literally steps away from the top of a centrally-located slope, and the lift puts you off just a very short walk to the door to the building. the unit has a balcony that looks out on the slopes. All the ski places I've stayed where you have to schlepp over hill and dale carrying all that stuff, or wait for a shuttle to get to the slopes or back home: none of that here. The location was so good that other insufficiencies fade into the background.The not-so-good: the facility is old and a bit tired and drab; it could certainly use a face-lift. Carpets old, appliances old. The living area in the unit is quite cramped, although the bedrooms are nice-sized. We were only two people: four people would have been bumping into each other. Kitchen area is tiny and kitchen itself far from modern. No counter space. I love to cook, but it's not the right kitchen for that. If you are looking for higher-end accommodations, these aren't those. But the bed was comfy and everything worked okay, and again, we decided location trumped a fancy interior.

Thanks for the 5-star review, and for the not-so-good points you mentioned. The Interior of the entire lodge will be updated this summer…new carpets, lIghting, paint, along wIth other redecorating to make our lodge an inviting place. And inside our unit, we will also be replacing carpet and appliances this summer. Space is at a premium at almost all facilities at Snowshoe, so we try to keep the kitchen functional but compact,, to provide as much living space as possible.

Good value for a basic condo in a great location

The condo complex is in a great location, the slopes are right outside, and it's close to everything in the village, and has adjacent parking (not the case at all condos in Snowshoe). The view is nice of the mountains in the distance and the little kids ski school below (no slopes view). The condo and the overall building are dated and could use a remodel, but everything was in decent condition. Both beds and the sofa bed were in good condition. The condo was quiet other than occasional people walking down the noisy halls during the day. Since it's not directly facing the slopes you don't hear the groomers in the early morning hours. The owner provided clear check-in instructions and was quick to respond to questions/concerns. The local staff, including the condo general manager, could use some customer service training. The heat setting had no impact on the temperature of the room as we had it set to 55 and it never got below 69. We couldn't open the windows to cool things down, but they may have been frozen as it was extremely cold outside. Overall, I would rent from this owner again. We've stayed at Mountain Lodge several times to ski and it is the best value for location and the size of the units.

Excellent location and views from the condo. The owner was great to work with.

The views from the living room are fabulous. Very unusual to get this in a value-priced condo. Ditto with convenience to the slopes. A short walk inside the hallways of the building and then you are outside and just a few steps from skiing. Also most unusual at this price point. This is a great unit for a family (or two couples) on a budget. The unit was clean and adequately equipped. Communication with the owner was outstanding. It is an older building so if you are looking for a luxury fully updated condo (and willing to pay the price) there are others at Snowshoe. But for a family (or two couples) who wants a warm, clean and convenient place to stay, this is hard to beat. If you plan on cooking in your condo, bring food with you. The mountain top market is very limited in selection and very highly priced. But there are plenty of casual restaurants at the resort. Keep in mind this an "upside-down" resort. The condos and ski village are at the top; not the bottom. The check-in process is simple. The front desk is open and gives you a code to the electronic lock. But, be patient. Cleaning is done by the building and check-in is not assured until 5pm. We encountered two check-in people; one younger woman and one older. The older one appeared in charge. The younger woman was as nice as she could be, did her best, and we tried to only talk with her. The older person was frequently butting-in and frankly was not a nice person. This is by no means the owner's fault. They can't control that, but perhaps they can report it. If you do wind-up with such a person, just smile and be patient and remember that you have a pleasant condo you'll be in shortly, and then you don't have to deal with her anymore. I do recommend this unit and its owners for future stays for the family or couples on a budget who want nice views and convenient access to the slopes.

Good but not Great

I would stay here again due to the fact that the benefits outweigh the downfalls big time. Location is great. Mountain Lodge can get loud at times though.. Would recommend it to a friend nevertheless

Snowshoe has the best skiing in the Southeast. More slopes, more snow, better after-ski choices. It also has a Gary Player-designed golf course rated the best resort course in WV. And of course, we’ve got the best downhill mountain biking in the southeast. We’ve hosted the World Cup downhill races, and in 2021 we were the only such race in the US.
