Weekend girl’s trip!

We loved our stay at the Chestnut cabin! It was conveniently located to the main road with Wildflower Cafe and Mentone Market but it felt private and secluded on a dead end street. The cabin was clean and fit the 6 of us perfectly. I would absolutely stay here again!

Phenomenal cabin and location!

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Such a great location and the cabin is so well appointed! Great yard and outdoor space for the kids, adorable decor, we had a great stay.

Enjoyed our stay over the weekend. Close enough to walk to Wildflower Cafe and other shops. Cabin was cozy. Would stay again.

We loved our stay! The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked and clean, and the kids loved the games. The porch was relaxing and nice that it was screened in. Thanks, we hope we can come back!

Charming, Peaceful, and Perfectly Located

We came to Mentone for a girls’ weekend to celebrate our mom’s 75th birthday, and Chestnut Cabin couldn’t have been a more special place for us to spend it. It gave us such a cozy, peaceful place to slow down, laugh, and enjoy being together. We absolutely loved the cabin’s rustic character, especially the warm, natural woodwork and beautiful wood ceilings throughout. The rich wood gives the entire cabin such a cozy, authentic feel, and you can even smell the history in the old wood and wood-burning fireplace. At the same time, the renovations and modern updates are beautifully done and make the cabin very comfortable without taking away from its original charm. The location was wonderful and so convenient to everything in Mentone. We walked to the Saturday Farmers Market, St. Joseph Church’s Sacred Garden, and even Mentone Market. When you want those beautiful mountain views, Bluff Park is just minutes away, so you can enjoy the views and then come back to the cabin for peace and serenity. It really felt like the best of both worlds: close to everything, but still quiet and relaxing. We especially LOVED the screened porch, the beautiful stone fireplace, and the big kitchen table. The table was perfect for gathering together, eating, playing games, and enjoying our time together. Chestnut Cabin helped make our mom’s birthday weekend one we’ll always remember, and we would absolutely stay here again!

Excellent accommodations, well-appointed amenities, convent location, family enjoyed every feature of the Historic Chestnut Cabin.

The Historic Chestnut Cabin proved to be a wonderful property, offering a relaxing family atmosphere. The convenance of the cabin’s location was a plus allowing quick excursions to Mentone’s many amenities. My family enjoyed cooking kabobs on the outdoor charcoal grill, utilizing the outdoor fire pit for roasting hot dogs and making smores as we told stories late into the night. We had a blast!

Beautiful Cabin with Peaceful Setting

We rented the cabin for a small group church retreat. We found it to be clean and well-supplied with what we needed. The kids loved the outdoor games that were available on the porch. We would stay there again!
