Close to Torch Lake, Williamsburg, Traverse City, Charlevoix, Shanty Creek, golf courses and lots more. 20 acre property for lots of outdoor adventure with a 2.7 mile horse trail, dirt bikes-quads, cross country skiing track in and out of the woods and fields. Bring the horses, quads and bikes and enjoy the scenery. Fire pit with seating for 8 to warm up on those cool nights. Guest may purchase firewood for their stay prior to arrival or once onsite. Fall color tours are amazing in Northern Michigan, come and enjoy Mother Natures beauty at her finest! Note: Outbuildings on property are not to be used by guest. They are private use only. At checkout guest bringing pets must declare so $75 fee is added to quote. Maximum 2 pets unless otherwise approved for additional fees.

Peaceful Acres was the perfect northern Michigan getaway. Close enough to lots of lakefront towns and attractions, but secluded enough to feel peaceful and private. We enjoyed walking and running the trails around the property and daily trips into neighboring towns for food and lake activities. The cabin is clean, cozy, and has everything you need for your stay.

Even better than the pictures! This space was remarkable and sooooo beautiful! To see how the structure came together through pictures really brought everything together. They also had a bin of toddler approved toys which was amazing. We'd come back again and stay longer.

This is a beautiful quiet location to stay. Very near Torch Lake. Downtown Alden is lovely with a few gift shops and places to grab a bite to eat, or a drink on a patio. We travel with our dog and he goes on all our Great Lakes adventures with us. We visited many beaches and Traverse City Wineries also. This home is so clean and beautiful especially for a dog friendly place. That made the stay so much cozier. Furnishings are comfortable, woods are pretty we saw wild turkeys strolling on property daily. Host responds promptly to any outreach! Thanks again! Helen and Ron G. (2 adults, 1 dog)

We loved the property! First time coming out to this area and traveling with our dog. This was a trip planned around our dog. She loved being able to run around free. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. It smelled clean, the temp was perfect, the privacy was amazing. The beds are very comfortable. We only used the firepit for some quick s’mores , but the setup is great for family time. Wish he had more time to explore the trail. It’s secluded, but still close to some towns and Torch Lake. We highly recommend this property.

We had a fabulous time staying at this beautiful and peaceful cabin. It was extremely clean (and I'm picky!), it had everything we needed, and it allowed us to make perfect family memories. Thank you so much to our gracious hosts for this great place!

Beautiful Property

We had a wonderful stay at Peaceful Acres!! The house was clean, in great condition, thoroughly thought out when built & had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was seamless. We would stay here again.

Long weekend with friends

Absolutely a beautiful cabin. Very clean and well taken care of. Location was nice for the drive over to Mackinac Island and also Torch Lake Sandbar. Will visit again.

Peaceful Retreat

Great place to enjoy quiet evenings with family around the fire and close to many activities: lakes, golf, breweries, shopping, etc. Would easily book again for another trip to northern Michigan.

Wonderful cabin in the woods!

We loved this beautiful cabin! Meticulously clean, wonderfully set up. Our dogs were in HEAVEN with the outdoor property and trail! You’ll need to drive into town but definitely do check out shops and the sunsets on Torch Lake.

Great stay!

The property was beautiful and was within the distance we were wanting to do anything outside of the property. Great accommodations! Clean and loaded with anything you might need. 10/10 would recommend.

Fall getaway

My husband and I had a fantastic stay in this gorgeous log home and we were able to bring our best girl (chocolate lab) , a must for us. Very comfortable beds and lovely kitchen stocked with everything you may need, we really enjoyed the seclusion and trails as well as the fire pit. Close to a cute town with some lovely little shops.

Truly Peaceful Acres

Nice Hope back a lane from the road. Nestled in trees with trails and area around you. Close enough to quickly get to various restaurants or other areas.

Alden “A” Frame

Very clean property both the grounds and the cabin. Well stocked; had everything we needed to have a fun getaway. The location is near lots of attractions including Mackinaw Island. We had so much fun there! The owners were easy to contact and responded quickly to all our questions. We’ll book this property again the next time we’re in the area.

Friend reunion

A couple of friends of over 30 years along with their wives, enjoyed every second of this home. Everything you’d need to have a great time. Used the fire pit, ate some great meals using the grill, and had an easy drive to Torch Lake for a day on the water. Would stay here without hesitation.

The description of this property is absolutely spot on. We booked this over the week of July 4th because it is pet friendly and our dog does not do well with fireworks. Although you could still hear some fireworks on the 4th and 5th, our dog was so wore out from walking the property and surrounding areas, that they didn't bother her. I can honestly say Peaceful Acres had everything we needed for the week and more. If you're looking for a get-away that is still close enough to a lot of dog friendly locations, this is the place. Thanks for a great week!

Peaceful Acres is our “check out of the rat race” getaway for sure. Quite nights and days filled with cookouts with family and friends. Michigan heat wave

We started with temps in the 90’s, air and fans got a good workout, kept us nice and cool.Cabin was great for us all week, and our dogs, location was perfect for all the places we planned on going to and we did them all.Property was nicely landscaped, we didn’t use the trail due to going places daily. Loved Alden, beautiful little town with Alden’s Mill House, go there, it’s amazing. Torch Lake area is beautiful, which is why we booked this property, location was perfect.
