Baita caratteristica situata nella foresta vicino al fiume Toccoa .. Questa cabina si trova in un bellissimo bosco di cervi con un sacco di grandi cicogne e alberi di quercia. Ci sono sentieri di cervi e orsi e molti altri animali che puoi vedere .. Il fiume Toccoa è vicino con un sacco di cose da fare, tra cui campeggio, pesca, rafting, tubing, escursioni, caccia e un sacco di grandi sentieri con molte cascate. Questa proprietà si trova in una foresta nazionale di 40.000 acri. Blue Ridge Lake è a 12 minuti dalla cabina. Ottimo shopping in campagna nel centro di Blue Ridge e ottimi ristoranti. Una bella corsa può essere fatta sulla Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad. Non dimenticate di visitare i frutteti di Mericer per gustosi spuntini, frutta e verdura fresca e opportunità di raccogliere i vostri frutti durante la stagione. L'ultimo e quasi solo Drive In Movie Theatre negli Stati Uniti è un'altra attrazione di Blue Ridge.

La cabina è molto affascinante e accogliente e la vista insieme con le sedie a dondolo sotto il portico, e la vasca idromassaggio vi rilasserà completamente mentre si guarda una cascata di 60 piedi. Anche uno scherzo che gli scoiattoli selvaggi giocano ti darà molte risate. Sedersi intorno al fuoco nelle serate fresche arrostendo marshmallow o godendo la vostra bevanda preferita.

Cute but very small

Double bed. It would have been nice to have a couch instead of two chairs. There is a bigger house right next door so you will definitely see people if there are others staying there.

Impromptu Getaway

The cottage is so cute and welcoming. The owners were prompt in confirming the property booking as well as sending check-in information. The only issues were: 1) the internet service is VERY spotty. Even when connected to the Wi-Fi it was inconsistent. 2) We decided to make hamburgers on the grill they provided. The gas grill is a fire hazard, there was a leak and fire coming from the hose. I took a video and sent the owners a message about the grill, but never received a response. I’m not sure if it’s due to the spotty connection or why, so we turned it off and finished the burgers using a cast iron skillet I had packed. 3) No fire extinguisher available. With the grill available and the availability to make a camp fire, an extinguisher is essential. Overall, the stay was fun and the bit of serenity we were seeking. Thank you!

Small but worked great for us!

Young couple and we really enjoyed it and the location. This area will have you out all day so we just needed a cool place to crash. Def would use again.

Saint Patrick’s Day weekend 2024

We had a really great time here. Charlie had a binder inside the cabin with lots of information and brochures of fun attractions near us! It was a cozy cabin. It’s definitely a stay for just one or two people but that’s all we needed!

Good for a 2 night stay

I was a cute and cozy cabin in the woods. Housekeeping could have done a much better job. I reported what I found to the owner in hopes he will follow up with his housekeeping for the next person. Short term is was okay, long term , probably better in the summer time.

This little cabin was just as described, quaint. It was very cute, perfect for a couple. Location was very quiet. The perfect little getaway from everything.

Description of the site was very misleading

Heater was out, half of the light bulbs were out, I bought a new one, had plastic forks and spoons, very little dishes, no way to cook anything, had to eat cold cereal, tv sucked, ask owner and he didn’t know how it worked, I would like at the least at the least the refund of $200 , owner said only Vrbo could do this, very!!!! Disappointed, ceiling fan squeaked very bad, above light was out, no toiletries in the shower, was told about fountain and lights with the hot tub but hard to enjoy with other people staying in the large cabin

Could have been better.

I was told I was ready to check in but not given the key code. I called 3 times and sent 2 or 3 messages about the key code. I was locked outside for 45 minutes. The cable remote, main heater, overhead light and one lamp didn’t work. Friday night basically sucked.

Nice but not enough

Nice little cabin, it is very basic though and not worth the listed rate per night. It has one bed and 2 chairs, thats pretty much all. No kitchen , no sitting furniture. Also, there is another cabin adjacent to this one, both are on the same lot and same driveway, so if people stay there - you will be hearing their porch conversation from inside your cabin. We booked 2 nights, stayed one night. Other than that, the area is very nice and the nature is beautiful.

Loved the cabin!

We really enjoyed the seclusion of the cabin. Stayed for 2 days while we explored the north GA mountain trails. Perfect location for this! Small cabin but it worked for us.

Quietness

This is the place to go for peace and relaxation. It is a very small cabin but that was fine. All we needed was a place to lay our heads and some quiet time to unwind. That is exactly what we got. Thank you Mr. Charlie, it was exactly what we needed.

Wonderful little cabin!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is nice and clean with a peaceful front porch, a swing and fire pit. Close to river activities and recreation areas. Toccoa River Restaurant is super close by and wonderful. There's a map hanging on the wall with local backroads and even dirt/gravel trails to try. Super awesome!!!

Nice Cabin

The cabin was as advertised - it small, quaint, and just perfect for one person. It was clean and comfortable. I was disappointed that the internet did not work, and when I sent the owner a text message about it, I never received a response. It made it a bit difficult to have to leave the cabin to work at Starbucks for a while on their internet. Probably won’t stay again due to the lack of response and that the internet did not work. It would be good for someone looking to completely disconnect.

Beautiful Cabin in the Woods

The cabin is exactly as described. It's set up like an efficiency, but the layout isn't the least bit crowded or crammed. The wi-fi was excellent, the communication and check-in process directions were detailed and easy to follow. The woods are beautiful, and we saw many deer. I understand the setting is literally the woods, but I wasn't crazy about finding a few dead critters inside the cabin, especially a rather large wood spider in the shower. That stated, they WERE dead, which is, in the end, the most important thing. Lovely stay, would book again in a heartbeat. JNA

Cozy anniversary weekend

My wife and I really enjoyed a weekend getaway for our wedding anniversary. The small cabin was just enough for the two of us. Charlie the property manager was very accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be going to stay again.

Judy and Charlie were married in 2009, and live in Roswell, Georgia. Charlie is a commercial pilot and a Real Estate broker, retired. He loves to ride his motorcycle, and ATV, and play on the wonderful Toccoa River.

Judy, loves to sit on the porch overlooking the waterfalls and read and relax. She is a retired school teacher with many years of service. She is the Apple of Charlie's eye.

We visited this location one time and completely fell in love with the beautiful forest, and the Toccoa River. The Cabin is one of a kind and most charming. After one night we felt we just had to have this spot in the world.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

We love sitting on the porch, enjoying the woods and unique waterfall built by Charlie. The cabin is rustic and comfy. We have three locations that you can put in a raft or any floating thing of your choice and you will arrive back at the cabin in 45 minutes, or 1.5 hours, 2.5 hours. If you stop to fish it will take longer. Most of the rapids will be class one and maybe 2 if you go for it. Easy ride in canoe, or raft. Lots of people tube the river.
10 minute drive will give you some of the most beautiful trail to walk with numerous water falls along the way. White Tail deer are very numerous and some times you will spot a black bear. We enjoy the charming downtown for shopping and dining. There are many unique, one of a kind shops and restaurants . Be sure to visit Mericers Orchards!
