My husband and I really enjoyed our weekend here! Perfect amount of space for 2 to enjoy one-on-one time to reconnect. We used the hot tub, propane fire pit, and watched a little TV one evening - all without issue! Would recommend to anyone looking for a romantic weekend with their significant other!

Relaxing

My husband and I enjoyed our three day stay. So quiet and relaxing, the home was very beautiful and quaint. We will definitely book with Emily again at one of her other locations soon!

Property was clean and a great location. It is smaller than the pictures but matches the decor and furniture. Our plan for this rental was for a couples getaway to relax and read and hike. We planned to be at the property more than other rentals to slow down and enjoy the property. The reason for my slightly lower rating is that there is a door camera that looks out at the whole porch, including the hot tub, which is uncomfortable. In addition, the sofa and seating options inside the home were not ideal for relaxing. There was a bean bag but the sofa was uncomfortable and there were stools for the dining area. There was a drop screen projector in the living room but overall not comfortable to be in that room, and not great for cuddling. Floor was concrete and cold. This may not bother most people, but for what we wanted for this trip it made it less ideal and I’d want others to know just in case, especially for the price. Oh, there was a heated toilet which was a nice surprise! Another thing to know is the check out instructions were surprising. Must wash and put away all dishes and replace trash bags. Not a deal breaker but we use a lot of vacation rentals and this is not normally our responsibility.

Tiffany, not only do we provide many pictures of the property to create accurate expectations but have also created a youtube link instructional video with a walk through of the property showing you how to use all amenities and that link is sent to you on several occasions prior to check in so we feel that we do provide our guests with SEVERAL opportunities to make a determination on weather or not our property would be a good fit for you. Not only are all rules regarding the 1 ring camera located at the main entry door disclosed but the check out instructions and house rules are provided multiple times before your arrival, they are also sent to you via link for our digital guest book so again, these expectations are communicated prior to your stay with the intention of limiting any surprises for our guests. Also, in our check in communication we advise steps to protect your privacy while using outdoor amenities. As a small family owned business we take extreme pride in the quality of our property and level of hospitality provided to our guests so I am sorry this property was not a good fit for you. Please do not consider us in the future.
