Dopo aver trascorso una giornata a Glacier Park, torna a una piacevole serata rilassante sotto il portico che si affaccia sul fiume Flathead. Barbecue, marshmallow arrosto sulla spiaggia, dormire sotto le stelle ascoltando "il flusso del fiume".
Oche selvatiche, anatre e aquile volano ogni giorno.

Questa bellissima proprietà in affitto si trova a 10 minuti da Glacier Park, a 20 min. per l'aeroporto, 25 minuti a coregone, 30 min. a Kalispell - un'ottima posizione. C'è un ampio parcheggio. Pulito e accogliente con vista sul fiume e sulla Great Northern Mountain
A pochi passi si trovano ristoranti, negozi di articoli da regalo, una taverna locale, parrucchieri, antiquariato e negozio di alimentari.
Pesce direttamente sul retro, niente come trota fresca per cena!

Beautiful property and a great place to stay for visiting Glacier, which is not far at all from the West entrance. I loved the decor, reminded me of hunting camps back home.

This property was fantastic. The location was absolutely beautiful; I didn’t even mind the day it rained because I could read on the covered porch and look out at the river. Jill was darling and receptive to all my questions.They provided salt & pepper, cooking spray, paper products, bear spray, bug spray, fishing rods, coolers, hiking sticks, and k-cups for their Keurig coffee maker. I highly recommend staying here!

The place was in a good location for access to glacier. The host was quick with responses. You are living below the host and her family. I was thankful we had the bottom floor because it was hot the days we were there. We did not feel hot at all. Kitchen had the bare minimum utensils but it was workable. They do have a little dog that every once in a while you could here it bark but no big deal. Host supplies bear spray and bug spray, 2 essentials for glacier.

Check in and check out was seamless. Hosts were very friendly and had lots of good local info. I would have liked to have laundry accommodations, but there was laundr-o-mat not far away. Location was beautiful and close to Glacier.

Our hosts were great. The location was great. Easy to find. We had a couple of campfires down by the river while we were there. A very peaceful neighborhood.

Pros: close proximity to glacier national park. Night sky was pretty nice. CONS: (there are a lot!)1. It’s not the entire house, only the very small basement. 2. Host lives upstairs, floors squeak A LOT!!, Even at 1am when she’s walking around. 3: Entire room smelled of harsh smoke/chemical odor upon arrival. Host was not helpful. 4: Host came and knocked on the door on day 2, asked that I put towels around the shower bc it leaks and she hasn’t had time to get it fixed bc it’s rented so much. (How is this my problem?) 5: The entire ceiling is a drop ceiling, straight out of a 1980s office building, complete with the harsh fluorescent light. So, escape work, & come relax under the same ceiling and lights as you just left at the office. 6: The owner has a little yappy dog, & it’s loud & annoying,7: There is no lighting from the driveway to the basement, walk through the grass, bc there is no walkway either. 8: With the same walk, try avoiding the dogs excrement. 9: There are constant, yes, every few hour freight trains that run past the neighborhood. Complete with train whistles at 3am. 10: The living room furniture is straight from the same 1980s that the ceiling came from. Complete with the same amount of wear, it’s so worn out I think a homeless camp would pass in having it. 11. Let’s move to the bedroom, the bed frame just wobbles and squeaks, no quality time with my partner bc i thought it would beak. Beware, this place isn’t as advertised.

Beautiful location & yard

We easily got into glacier National Park from Jill’s place. The property is situated up above the middle Flathead River. We watched rafts, kayaks and paddle boards float down the river every day. Jill was very easy to work with. I highly recommend this property.

Perfect location for a couple. Loved the view of the Flathead River from the front windows & the patio. Quiet. Helpful host. 15 minutes to Glacier.

Randy Loff , the owner , was born and raised in Hungry Horse. A sportsman all his life, he knows the best places to fish and hunt in the Flathead Valley. The owner of a sporting goods store, he will set you up with fishing gear, and offer his advice on catching any fish species that thrive in the rivers and lakes of this area. Randy also recommends float trips, as rafting is excellent on the Flathead River. You can launch your raft only a few feet from the front door of your walk-out lower level apartment. In addition to hunting, fishing and rafting, Randy is your information source for hiking trails, fine restaurants, and area events.

The river is in your front yard. Excellent fly fishing and hunting. . .Gateway to the Bob Marshall Wilderness.. Hungry Horse Reservoir is 5 minutes away. The town is walking distance away. It is a quiet street. The house is clean, cozy and has a wonderful view of the Flathead River and Great Northern..
