Vieni a goderti la serena e bella foresta di Redwood che circonda la Crown Royal Streamline, un rimorchio vintage da viaggio Airstream con rimodellati, caratteristiche originali e cucina, bagno e servizi aggiornati. Questo piccolo gioiello nelle sequoie è solo una casa vacanza. Godetevi la casa splendidamente costruita di ginepro e cedro con acqua calda a richiesta e vasca / doccia con piedi a zampa vi attende un momento di relax tra il prato soleggiato e privato e le sequoie. Un bagno di ginepro e cedro splendidamente costruito con acqua calda su richiesta e vasca / doccia clawfoot attende un momento di relax tra le sequoie assolate e private. Questo stabilimento balneare è all'aperto (semi-chiuso e privato, simile alla doccia del campeggio), condiviso con altri due individui nei 2 RV d'epoca (che sono separati dal paesaggio che migliora la privacy) ed è più fresco nei mesi invernali. Il nostro sistema di riscaldamento migliorato, secondo gli ospiti recenti, riscalda bene l'Airstream. Inoltre, ci sono anche coperte elettriche disponibili all'interno. Airstream è completamente arredato con asciugamani, saponi, biancheria da letto, cucina completa, acqua potabile e tutto ciò che serve per portare è il proprio cibo e bevande.

A soli 10 minuti da Arcata, spiagge locali e il fiume Mad e siete arrivati ​​ai nostri 40 acri di foresta di Redwood piena di sole. Tranquillo, soleggiato, accogliente, confortevole ed economico.

I was looking for a glamping retreat and the vintage airstream was perfect. The setting in the redwoods was quiet and serene and close to activities in Arcata and Eureka. Bed was super comfy and I enjoyed the outdoor shower and relaxing in the hot tub. Only critique is that a little more light over the kitchen sink would have been helpful for food prep and clean up. Thank you for sharing this peaceful place!

About 20 minutes to town but it’s very secluded at the site. The hot tub was the perfect temperature and barely two minute walk from the airstream.

Property is a airstream trailer located in the middle of the redwood forest. The forest is beautiful. The airstream was a mess. It was old. It was old and in need of repairs, the door to the trailer could not be easily closed or locked. The house came out at three in the morning to help me.

Enjoyed having a cozy airstream to stay in. It was especially nice to have the woodfire stove on a cool, rainy day. The open air tub was a great way to connect with the wilderness... LOVED that the water was always hot!

Such a relaxing place to stay. We had to fight a few mosquitoes and the banana slug had a thing for my shoes. Definitely agreat weekend camping away from everything.

Great stay in the redwoods

This trailer was a perfect home base for our visit over Thanksgiving. We loved everything about our stay, especially the outdoor bathhouse (the hot water never ends!) and the beautiful hot tub in the trees. The split bunk beds reminded me of summer camp in the best way while also being super comfy. The tiny kitchen was perfect for two people's food needs, and I had fun "playing house" here for a week. Host was great - friendly and communicative. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to friends. We were very happy here!

So Quiet!!

The trailer is a bit dated but makes up for it with location and QUIET! It was close enough to see the sites but tucked away in isolation. The “outdoor shower” was nice as you had room where a trailer shower would not. We would come back!

Serene and quiet.

This property is a little tricky to get to but once you do its a very peaceful and quiet setting. Jeff was so easy to work with as we did get lost the first night coming in at night time, but he came down the hill and guided us in. Showers were hot, bathroom as sufficient. Its a cozy little trailer. I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The airstream is clearly well cared for and has everything you need with lots of neat character to it. It's in a pretty private location, there are other dwellings around the property but the airstream has its own little yard and space. One of our favorite parts of the deal was the outdoor shower set up. The airstream has its own designated private shower stall. With on-demand water that gets nice and hot! We also took advantage of the hot tub, which was so lovely after hiking around the redwoods all day. We also loved the location. Its off the beaten path and in nicely nestled in the forest. It really was a perfect spot for us two low maintenance outdoorsy folk.

Stayed while attending a nearby weeklong seminar. Everything went well, everything works (or doesn't) as described, my partner and I enjoyed our stay. Full disclosure for potential guests: it is a charming trailer, but it's old and parked in a humid environment so guests should expect to encounter a musty retro vibe, some rusty, malfunctioning hinges, wonky towel racks, funky DIY electrical systems etc. The original indoor shower stall is not functional so showers happen in a perfectly decent detached shower shed with an old claw-foot tub shower. If on a scale of 10 tent camping is a 1 and a modern economy hotel room is a 10, think of this experience as somewhere in the middle, similar to a KOA campground.

Needs some work

While reasonably clean, the smell of cigarettes permeated the walls and upholstery. Two other trailers near by appeared abandoned, only to have folks drive in after dark, which was unnerving. We came home one evening to find a car parked beside our trailer, no occupant, but no explanation. Finally, one of the robes provided for guests had a personal razor and unclean underwear in the pocket.

This being our first and only less than positive review, our apologies. We were out of town and a prior guest did not follow our 'no smoking' policy. The robes have been removed and the interior deep cleaned. The other vintage, classic trailers, set back with their own privacy, are occupied by working, quiet, & respectful permanant tenants . Thank you for the feedback.

The Airstream is a great basecamp for a visit to the area parks and attractions, equipped for two guests but I could see four guests being comfy there as the basecamp too. Easy to find using the Property Manager's directions, I found that Google Maps guided me there over 400 miles of travel that day. The Airstream is well equipped and was clean, though it took me a minute to figure out how to turn on the lights. The lights on the kitchen appliances work, none of the "wall"switches are activated, no problem once I knew where the switches were located. The light in the sitting area is activated by the power strip on the floor. There is a mini-wood-burning stove ** keep in mind that the door is only 7" wide, so plan on sawing your timber to fit **. A fantastic place to stay in Humboldt, a great value, private (2 other cabins nearby), quiet and surrounded by the forest! If it hadn't been raining I would have pitched my open-top tent and slept under the sky in that clear spot right out the front door!!

I think that this rental is ideal for an individual or a couple who do not mind if things are not entirely clean or perfect. It certainly worked for my needs, but I'm not certain that it would be a good match for the majority of people. The trailer is relatively small and older. It could've been more thoroughly cleaned, certainly not up to nicer hotel standards. Communication with the owner was OK but not prompt. Again, I believe that this is a nice match for the DIY crowd, but those expecting luxury should look elsewhere. Finally, the hot tub, although chlorinated, was not particularly clean and felt quite oily. I have owned a similar hot tub in the past and certainly did not feel that this one was well monitored or maintained.

Beautiful location, a bit difficult to find

Noting that the freeway under crossing is a large culvert pipe would help travelers find this beautiful location. There is plenty to be said for the charm of this place. The welcome binder was surprisingly limited on guidance for finding the hot tub but gave plenty of information on using the hot tub. The trailer we were in was quaint but rickety. It swayed and creaked with almost any movement. The entry stairs were solid, but didn’t have any hand rail, making them difficult for older folks to navigate. The outdoor bathhouse was wonderful, but not accessible for an elder with any balance issues. Our front door was very difficult to close from the inside and the lighting was difficult to figure out for the front, sitting area (turns out the switch was less than 12” from the floor, almost under a chair). The Vrbo template for describing amenities was not up to preparing us for this location. The host was responsive and helpful, but on holiday himself. I would recommend the trailers at this property as crash pads for much younger people than my husband and myself.

This place was awesome! A very unique comfortable, place to stay. No frills, cozy and all you need. Very relaxing set in the middle of a beautiful Redwood tree Grove. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a restful place to stay while visiting the Redwood parks.

Beautiful trees, odd interior

The hot tub in the redwoods was wonderful! It is down the hill from the trailer and to the right up a small driveway behind the big house you see as you drive in. Sitting outside of the trailer was lovely, as there is a small meadow and surrounded by trees. There was also the cutest/smallest wood stove I've ever seen, but out of use due to fire danger. It is about 5 mins drive from downtown Arcata, which was great. Explored Trinidad and the costal hiking trails and had a beautiful time outside. Tip: arrive during daylight because it could be hard to find otherwise. Our issues: beds are not the same, one higher and one lower, one was not good and my partner had to use a camping mattress on it. Walking through the two beds to the toilet was odd, you have to shuffle sideways, and one of the mattresses didn't fit the bed, so it was falling into the walkway. If the mattress/bed situation were improved, this place would be a lot better. Could also use a hand railing up to the trailer (some people would have trouble with the two stairs), coverings on open light sockets, working lamp in the bedroom, a hand railing to get into shower/tub (again, accessibility), and hooks in the bath house. Everything was clean when we got there, and all the windows open, so the Covid caution was appreciated. The hot tub was clean, too. This is definitely an older trailer, so if you're hoping for "vintage," this is your place.

Solitude in the Redwoods

If your looking for a quiet place away from crowds of tourists, this is for you. The property is just as described, remote yet not too far removed from the sights. My daughter & I stayed there for a week & a half to get acclimated to the area before starting college at HSU. The place met all our expectations.

Scarestream in the Redwoods

First impression walking up to the property, old, rickety, wooden steps to the front door, being leveled by chunks of wood. From there we found the key in the deadbolt, because that's what holds the door shut. Upon entry, we are greeted by thrift store furnishings. Further inspection finds several notes from "Jeffrey and family" informing us how to cleanup daily and such. We arrived near sunset and found a few lights on, which was fine. The issues began at bedtime. The heat source is a space heater plugged into an extension cord hung off one of the 2 Twin beds. Then it was lights out, none of the wall switches work so, each light has to be turned off by an inline switch. Long story short, we spent 3 of the 4 nights and called it good. We never saw or heard from the owner so, I didn't bother asking for any kind of refund, hopefully the extra funds will go towards a remodel. My wife and I did follow all of the cleaning instructions and left the place cleaner than we found it.

Car got scratched up

Owner did not respond to any of my messages or calls. I thought it was a flat gravel road not a 45° degree incline. Now i have scratched tire rims and underside to pay for on my rental car. Not accessible at ALL. And poison ivy covering the entrance from the "parking spot" too.

Loved being in the woods with quick access to stores and fuel. We were in a great location that allowed us to explore the redwoods for two days. The owner was great and helped when we needed. The airstream was clean, the shower was delightful and the view was calming. Great place!!

Pros: Peaceful, quiet, convenient, awesome hot tub Cons: showers dirty, dirt floor in showers, no trash enclosure Full trash can from previous tenets had been left in the driveway. Racoons got into it and tipped it over before it was picked up. Need to include a map of site showing hot tub, other rental units, trash disposal, outdoor showers, etc.
