I would not recommend
From the start things were a mess. According to one of the property managers my place wasn't cleaned because they didn't know I was coming. It took me 24 hours to get a towel (yes, just one) for the bathroom. Until then I used the floormat to dry myself. Then, the security guard (more about these guys later) told me I should have a bracelet to identify myself as a "Renter" which no on told me about nor offered to me when I checked in.. So I spent the first day having to explain why I didn't have a bracelet to every guard I passed, while I tried to figure out where to get my bracelet. This facility takes great pains to separate the renters from the owners, so you have to wear a bracelet if you're a renter. I also found out the hard way as a lowly renter I can only swim in the renter pool, not the owners pool. Mind you, this was during the Covid lockdown so virtually no one was using either pool. On the renter's pool they have boarded off the stairs into the pool . When I asked why they told me so birds don't drink out of the pool. Now for the guards, they are everywhere and constantly watching. I was reprimanded 4-5 times for various infractions (full disclosure, I did not read the TEN pages of rules I was given at check in). Just to set the stage here. I'm 63 years old!! One night, I met two women and invited them to my unit for a drink. Mere minutes after entering the condo there was a knock on my door and the security guard informed me they would have to leave because I hadn't "registered" them (which can only be done during business hours and costs extra). So, apparently if you might meet someone, you need to know during business hours so you can take them by the office (4 blocks away) and get them shackled. I actually ended up taking my guests and renting ANOTHER room somewhere else so we could relax. The next day, as I drove into the complex the guard literally checked my car backseat for anymore "contraband" guests. On my last day, I went down to the pool for some last minute sun but there were no cushions on any of the lounges. I went to the front desk and they said they would send someone. 10 minutes later a guy shows up with a cushion. He didn't pass up the opportunity to lecture me on an infraction I had not committed but just to let me know not to.
I will not be back.
Let me start of by saying i am truly sorry for the bad experience you had during your vacation, although we rent condos for this resort our staff is not on site, and we cannot control their actions, we will however pass this comments to their HOA and try to work a solution for this inconveniences you experienced. Excellent Quite getaway
Check in and out little of a pain as it is not on the grounds. Minor detail though. overall a great time.

My family and I have stayed at a condo in Pinacate before and we had a great time. This particular condo is in desperate need of help. There is a very foul smell coming from this unit. We reported this issue to Sea Side Reservations, they came by when we weren't there and left a note saying they came by and did nothing. Later on I asked a couple who owns a condo on the same floor and they told us that Sea Side is well aware of the problem because other guests have complained before and that the stench coming from the unit affects them from time to time. We were here to celebrate my son's first birthday and we were so disappointed that we were given such filthy accommodations. This condo needs a serious update.
