My family and I had an awesome time at this property for our stay in Ellicottville. To begin with, the hosts were amazing. They were very easy to contact and provided a smooth check in and check out process. They also provided us with welcome goodies which was truly so kind of them. The home was exactly as described and was very clean. Another plus about this property is that it is pet friendly so we were able to bring our four legged friends. The hosts even provided dog bowls and toys if needed which was so thoughtful. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in Ellicottville. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Wonderful place with all amenities. Good for family/pets. Our adult group demanded more separate sleeping spaces, especially with closets. Outdoor spaces were great, especially fire pit. Hot tub was a bit overchlorinated.

Overall a pretty good experience. The biggest let down was that the hot tub was very dirty and had a film over the top of it and that was a big selling point for our group. The second part was that this was the worst internet I think I’ve ever connected to. We had to use our hotspots to watch tv or anything all weekend. It is a little more condensed than it looks like in the pictures as well. Everything was clean, and we got what we wanted from it, just improvements that could be made given the big price point.

Thank you for the kind and honest review Anthony, and for letting us know about the hot tub and wifi - both are things we could have easily fixed during your stay, so we're glad to have the heads up now. On the wifi - we have fiber optic internet at the chalet with very strong service, so what you experienced sounds like it just needed a quick modem reset. We'll head over to check on it before the next guests arrive. We do send a check-in email after the first night and would love for guests to feel comfortable reaching out anytime something comes up - we're always just a call or text away and want to make things right in the moment whenever we can. So glad everything was clean and otherwise enjoyable, and thanks for choosing Stay Après!

The hot tub and fire pit were fantastic. We had a gorgeous weekend of weather and fall colors. The house is “walkable“ into town, but it is a very long walk! Definitely not walkable for kids or older people. The rooms were set up well for extended family and the kitchen was well appointed.

The chalet’s location is 0.9 miles from the Village center, so it’s a pleasant walk for some, but we completely agree it can feel long for kids or older guests. Family Ski Weekend

This house was perfect for our group of 6 adults and 5 children. It was clean, cozy, and very well stocked. The view of HV slopes in the distance was beautiful. It’s super close to Holimont and HV! Everyone enjoyed the hot tub after skiing!! The house had many games available and the kids loved the big table game in the basement. Wonderful hosts and we would definitely stay here again.

Spring skiing with the family

Came up here my family and dogs for some early-spring skiing. This house was PERFECT for our needs. The kids had a blast with the games and extra family room, the dogs had plenty of windows & quiet walks to enjoy, and us adults enjoyed relaxing in this wonderful & comfortable home when we weren't out on the slopes! Thank you for hosting us :)

Great stay in EVL

11 of us stayed at the property and had a great time. There were plenty of beds and the place was pretty modern. The hot tub was really nice and got super hot! We walked a few times to and from the city and it took 15-20 minutes, which wasn’t bad. The biggest con is noise. If you are a light sleeper you probably want to bring some ear plugs. Had a great stay overall!

Vacation Chalet

Our family had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful chalet New Year’s weekend. Dean and Vicki were very informative and responsive. The home was clean and inviting and very comfortable for our family gathering. We used the kitchen for a large New Year’s Eve dinner and it was well stocked with anything we needed. They thought of everything. We would highly recommend staying here for your visit to Ellicottville and would definitely come back!

Great house

Overall we had a great stay. The hottub at this property broke last minute so the hosts were able to accommodate us at another property. House was very nice. The only thing that could have made the stay better was the cleanliness of the kitchen. The oven was unusable from how dirty it was inside and smoking. So the food we brought to cook went to waste. The hosts did accommodate a later check out for us which was appreciated. Would recommend these hosts!

Fall Fest 2024

After a mere 16 years, I finally convinced family to come up for the Fall Fest festivities and this house was the cherry on top. It is in a great location to the main hub of Ellicottville, easy walking distance or a super cheap Uber ride. Even to Holiday Valley, the walk is super doable. The house was big enough with extra room for 12 adults and a dog. While the open concept is awesome for the views, it is a little loud for anyone sleeping on the second floor. But that wouldn’t deter me from renting again. Dean and Vickie were great hosts. And I’d like to thank them again for their hospitality. Looking forward to making this an annual event!
