We had a wonderful stay over February vacation. The location was perfect and close to several winter attractions including Ice Castles, tubing, and skiing (Waterville Valley, Tenney, Loon). The home was comfortable, clean, and well suited for a family getaway. There was plenty of space to relax after full days outside, and we were able to cook full meals in the kitchen. It was a great option for a memorable family vacation, and we would absolutely stay here again.

This house was truly a gem! It was perfect for our group of two adults and three kids. Located just 20 minutes from Waterville Valley, where we spent our days on the slopes, it couldn’t have been more convenient. The kids especially loved the bunk bed room with its own TV. The home was clean and the owners were incredibly kind and responsive throughout all of our interactions. We will definitely be back for our next ski trip!

It's our third time staying here and would hopefully do it again next year. So much fun, and close to many activities. Owners are very available and communicative. Would highly recommend!!

Weekend ski trip

The house was perfect for our family of four for a weekend ski trip; lots of room and could easily accommodate more. Convenient location was a short drive to multiple mountains.

Perfect mountain getaway for our young families. Susan was very responsive and helpful with local attraction suggestions. If with kids definitely check out the arcade/penny candy store (2 min away). The ice castles in North Woodstock had also opened which was a nice day out with my 5 year old (tubing and ice slides were his favorite parts). For the adults, stop in at least once for a coffee at Mad River Roasters. The highlight though was probably the hike on the Smarts Brook Trail (trailhead with easy parking is 8 minutes from the house.) Great stay - would highly recommend.

New years night

A group of 10 of us very happily stayed at this location for the new years holidays. The house was very lovely and cozy im typical new England fashion. The hosts were very communicable and easy to be in costact with. Would recommend

Great location

Great location for skiing. 20 minutes to loon and 15 minutes to Waterville. Susan was very easy to communicate with. Only compliant was sheets weren’t provided but proper heads up was given.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We loved staying at this cabin! It was extremely clean and so cozy. The fireplace in the living room made the room extra cozy. The owners were easy to communicate with and answered any question that came up! They were very helpful. The house was so close to Waterville Center and the mountain. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us. We will definitely rent this place again for our next ski trip! it was the perfect location and home for a group ski trip!

Truly a wonderfully authentic White Mountain Getaway! Very accommodating hosts always within reach if need be. You are truly a guest in their home. The owners have provided you with everything you would possibly require for your stay. Very comfortable and cozy. The home is beautifully tucked in nature yet close to area attractions & necessities. Very peaceful, private & safe location. Life slows down here for sure. You may even be visited by a local deer family solidifying the solitude of the property. Please don’t wait to visit. You will love it here. We did!

Perfectly Cozy and welcoming!

This little gem of a home was welcoming, clean and comfortable for our family. Our family of 9 had plenty of space and enjoyed the spaciousness the home provided. Everything you needed was right at your fingertips! And the fireplace was absolutely perfect! The location was perfect, easily accessible to restaurants, attractions and even a little brewery that was also very welcoming! We were also very pleased with the communication from our host(s) from the moment we contemplated booking, till we checked out ,it was a pleasant easy process!!!

Ski week end

Great home Microwave was broken not a game changer but inconvenient First floor tub/shower was cloged and made for interesting showers No towels, and bedding was a bit inconvenient but just something we felt with We had to shovel walk way to home and the walk way on the deck.

You were notified in 3 separate places about the need to bring your own sheets and towels as my cleaning service does not provide it - in the Property Details on the website, on the lease that you signed, and again in my last email to you. This is the reason that our rental fee is so low. If you recall, you wrote to me…. O m g. My wife might kill me. I forgot about the sheets and towels ect. Just figured u might get a chuckle. I'm not very organized You slept on my mattress pads and pillow protectors which all now need to be cleaned. I have been renting this property for the past 15 years. I have never had so much trouble communicating with a guest. I had to repeatedly ask if you were receiving my messages from VRBO. You complained that you did not get an access code. I sent this information in texts and messages through the website but you did not bother to read any of my messages The microwave was not broken. You didn’t know how to use it. You never notified me because I would have told you what to do. As for shoveling, this is winter in New Hampshire. There was 8 inches of snow the night before you left on Sunday at 9AM. My caretaker was there to shovel the deck and 6 feet of walkway at 10 am. The driveway was fully plowed. If you look at my other 5 star reviews, you know where the problem lies.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! Our families traveled together with kids ranging from ages 3–8, and the house was perfect for all of us. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, relax, and still feel cozy together—exactly what you want in a cabin getaway.Even though the weather was very cold, it didn’t slow us down one bit. The location was fantastic: we enjoyed a nearby arcade (a huge hit with the kids!) and went tubing, which was such a fun winter adventure for the whole group. After being out in the cold, coming back to the warm, comfortable cabin and sitting by the fire was the best feeling.The cabin itself was clean, well-equipped, and thoughtfully set up for all of us. It felt welcoming from the moment we arrived and truly made our trip special. The kids had an amazing time in the bunk room, the adults were able to relax, and we made memories we’ll be talking about for a long time.We would absolutely recommend this house to other families or groups looking for a fun, cozy, and memorable getaway in NH—no matter how cold the weather gets!

Perfect Ski trip

We had the most amazing time at this home in the white mountains! The home is a quick drive from Waterville valley, where we skied and spent our day. When it got too cold to ski we went over to the Waterville Valley town center for some tubing which was extremely fun! The host of this home was so responsive and helpful! The house was so clean and cozy! Sitting by the fire place, watching it snow was beautiful. The host even gave us some delicious dinner and apres ski recommendations. She recommended local restaurants and activities which we tried and had a blast! We went to the six burner bistro for dinner and the coyote grille for some apres ski drinks. We will definitely rent this home again next year for our annual girls ski trip!

Good property with some inconveniences

We stayed at this property as a family with two young children. The house is as depicted in the pictures and Susan was prompt in responding whenever we needed to communicate. The fireplace is really nice and it does provide a good amount of heat which is great especially after being outside on a cold day. There were couple of inconveniences, one is all the instructions that we needed to follow before leaving. It took us some time to figure out what we needed to do and to make sure we didn't mess something up as it relates to heat/plumbing. One of the instructions was to remove the trash from the property which is the first time we had to do it while staying somewhere. As instructed we took it to a local garbage disposal site, but were turned back and kind of chastised for trying to do it and so we had to haul the trash back to our home.
