A lovely stay. Wendy and Will were superb hosts, the barnhouse was perfectly appointed, and I only wished I could have stayed longer.

This was our 1st time staying at this cozy and quaint “Barnhouse”. Accommodations were very nice. We definitely would recommend this and look forward to staying again.

Idyllic Farm cottage. Very clean with modern furnishings in well equipped and appointed house. A lot of thought was put in for’s guests. The fire pit was great. Super convenient location to Colgate University in town. You do share a backyard with the larger farmhouse rental next-door but most of the time you’re inside or on the front porch or at the fire pit.

Wonderful space to come back to at the end of some long days of antiquing. Deer were frolicking outside in the field next to the barn house, and the river nearby was wonderful to sit by with a glass of wine. Wendy was available for any questions we had. Definitely can’t wait for our next stay!

We had a great experience staying at this property. The house is equipped with everything one might need for a home away from home, the host was responsive and welcoming, all instructions were very clear. Will definitely stay again and recommend to others.

The Barnhouse is located in a beautiful rural setting. Close to town yet in the midst of farmland. It is comfortable and spacious for the size of it, well equipped with little extras one often one looks for once in a rental but cannot find such as small plastic baggies, herbs, and cooking oil. A fun place to be. Will and Wendy respond quickly to questions and are close by to help if necessary. It was a great stay.Richard and Debbie

Great Stay

We had a great stay which was very comfy and cozy!! Very conveniently located just minutes from Colgate. We would stay again for sure and highly recommend it.

A really cool experience to stay in a renovated barn so close to Colgate’s campus. It was a 4 minute drive but felt like a world away. Very quiet location with an impressive stream to walk to on the property. We loved our stay!

Perfect Cozy Barnhouse!

I stayed here with my sister (a freshman at Colgate) for the weekend and we absolutely loved it! The property is adorable, the barnhouse is clean and has everything you need, and it is a short 4 min drive from campus. We will definitely be booking this again for our next visit!

Cute renovated barn

It is a renovated barn but you have all the amenities you need. They have a portable a/c which keeps it very comfortable, good WiFi, full and updated kitchen, and a tv with streaming services. We really enjoyed our time here!

Back in our hometown

Needed a place for an overnight visit in our hometown. This property is just around the corner from where we lived for nearly 40 years. It was a nice to feel so at home.

Just as Described

I wish I could keep this place a secret but it seems the secret is out. The Barnhouse is exactly as described and pictured, and it is so close to Colgate. It was perfect for our small family's short stay. Will and Wendy provide everything you need to make it feel like a home away from home. 10/10
