This place was exactly what we were looking for and more! Very comfortable bedrooms and beds, many books and games, great tv, incredible fenced in large space for our dog, and I’ve never been to a rental that was stocked so throughly with anything you would need! The coffee was a super treat! Definitely recommend this place!

The Turtle Dome is a unique property - a geodesic dome exhibiting interesting and excellent craftsmanship, as well as a spacious home with an open floor plan and modern kitchen and baths. It's also quite private since it's rural, yet close enough for day trips into the front range of the Rockies.

The house is very nice and clean with newer appliances. Had decent quality pots and pans / dishes ,utensils. Dog loved the large yard. House is located close to town but in country for a nice private feel. Host was very helpful and quick to reply to any questions I had. Would definitely recommend!

Visiting around Longmont, excellent location for relaxing in between our activities. Dog loved the spacious yard for exercise. Plenty of room for 5-6 adults; we only had 3. Super quiet most times of the day. Nice kitchen and living areas.

My recent stay at the Turtle Dome home exceeded all expectations. The home itself is spacious, clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. It is situated on several acres, far enough away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, yet a short drive to nearby cities for shopping and restaurants. Open views of the mountains, sunrises, sunsets, bird song, and bunnies await you. It is peace personified. The hosts are very responsive, and their attention to detail to make every aspect of your stay enjoyable is evident. My pups loved running around in the large yard too. Absolutely loved this place!

We absolutely loved this place. The house was so clean, had an amazing view in the backyard. The kids even asked if we could buy a house just like it. If we ever pass through the area again, this is definitely the place we will stay.

Quite a special place to stay. The design of the house is incredible. I completely recommend staying here. Clean, bright, and cheerful! Pretty walking path just a short drive, and grocery store 15 minutes away. Beautiful views of the mountains, and close to major roads for travelers.

Great place

We were in town early for the National Western Livestock Show and the place was a great stop. The hosts were very accommodating and answered questions immediately.

Cool house in a great location. Very clean, with a huge fenced yard where our dog enjoyed spending time. We spent most of our time on the side patio. Close enough to shopping, but far enough away from it all.

Turtle doving…

Short stay to watch my daughter graduate from CSU, and stayed in this lovely place nestled between Mead/Longmont/Beethoud. Comfortable beds, plenty of room for my adult boys and dog. Great stay! Hope to visit again!

Gorgeous, Serene and Spectacular Sunrise/set

Home is wonderful and comfortable in every way. Location was perfect for us with access to Boulder, Longmont, Loveland, Berthoud and Ft. Collins. Huge windows make for incredible long-range views.

Official Colorado Vacation Dome

Walking into the dome for the first time is breathtaking, we all instantly fell in love! With cows as backyard neighbors it made the trip more memorable as ever! One of my favorite parts was the view from the back porch!

The house was amazing!! Clean, had everything we needed! Not too far away from town, but gave us privacy. No close neighbors, no loud city noises or bright lights. Spacious backyard! Awesome kitchen! Bunnies and cows in the yard! And an awesome view of the RMNP!!

Peaceful and Perfect Place

This was the best VRBO experience ever. Seamless, smooth, spotless, peaceful and absolutely delightful. We were in CO to visit CU and CSU - Berthoud was such a charming spot to stay. Adored the town. But this house - love love love. So many thoughtful touches in a unique and lovely spot. Convenient to Longmont, Boulder, Loveland, and Fort Collins.

Great Girls Getaway

When 3 seasoned ladies need to gather, Turtle Dome gave us exactly what we needed. Beds wee comfortable, kitchen had all we needed in great condition and we really enjoyed the bunnies. Thank you for the wonderful candies, cheese pizza and great time

Amazing!

You will not be disappointed if you stay here. It’s so lovely and peaceful. Lots of bunnies that hop around the yard all day which was adorable and fun for the kids. The beds are COMFY. I never sleep away from home and I slept great the whole time. All around great place and amazing hospitality from the host!

unique home located centrally for hitting both Denver and the Mountains

The Turtle Shell Dome is a unique place, which helps make the stay more memorable. It was about halfway between Denver and Rocky Mountain National Park, both of which we visited while staying at the Dome. The main bedroom and bathroom in the upstairs loft area are very open, and there is no sound isolation from the main living area if that's an issue for you, but otherwise it is a great family vacation spot.
