Se vuoi essere nel cuore della città e camminare ovunque questo sia. È sul primo blocco, passi per la sabbia e passi per qualsiasi ristorante o bar. Proprio accanto alla Catalina Island Conservancy così facile se si desidera un tour o un evento. Due bei mazzi, puoi sorseggiare un drink e goderti il panorama o guardare la gente. Tutto rifatto di recente, bello tutto. Suono in tutto insieme con bluray a schermo piatto e dock mp3. Tecnicamente è una camera da letto ma è di 1100 piedi quadrati con due euroloungers che si aprono e tutte le lenzuola / asciugamani inclusi. Questo è un posto divertente dove andare e lo adorerai, lo facciamo.

If you use the toys kayaks etc. brush the sand off of them before you put them away. Please leave the toy room in better condition than you found it. The Maids don't clean the toy room so thanks for helping with that. Please be respectful with noise. No parties are allowed. Never allow other people to be in the house without you being present.

Amazing time at the Yellow house! It was perfect location literally seconds from the beach and down town. Marty was quick and efficient with response time — made check in and check out very easy an accommodating. Tons of beach toys! Loved having the deck top and bottom! Felt like home away from home. Bed is super comfortable. We are going to make it our yearly place to stay! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great place

The Yellow House was everything and more! We had the best time and the house provided everything we needed. The toy closet is beyond stocked, house accommodated the four of us perfectly and we walked EVERYWHERE!! Can’t beat it!!

Yellow House Haven

The yellow house is such a cute rental. I loved the Spanish tiles and all the little sea plane touches. We came for diving and the location was perfect - just a 10 minute (if that long) stroll along the coast live over looking the harbor. The everything you could need (food, shops, water sports, drug store, etc) is incredibly walkable. Marty, the property manager was incredible - he’s timely, responsive, and respectful. We can’t wait to vacation here again.

In the center of the action.

The property was a very short walk to the ferry. The toy storage room had everything you could ever want for the beach. All the windows in the bedroom had blackout curtains and double pained windows to block out all the noise from the gas powered golf carts. And the A/C was nice on hot days!

This is the beach at the end of the block all lit up at night.

Great location, nice place

Great spot for a quick overnight to Avalon. Super close to shops/restaurants and the beach. All the toys (bikes, floaties, SUPs) and the luggage storage were a huge plus!

Quick get away at the Yellow House

Had a two night stay at the Yellow House (first time visitor to Catalina Island). The Yellow House is perfectly located for easy walking to anywhere you want to go in Avalon. Marty was very responsive with any questions or concerns before and during the trip. Will definitely check for availability of the Yellow House when planning my next trip to the island!

Fun… great experience!

Had a wonderful time. I loved the location. Some may not because it is noisy during the day however at night totally quiet. House was spotless. Marty, nice to deal with. I would DEFINITELY go back

Enjoyable Stay

This property is centrally located to the ferry, beach and shopping. If you like hiking/trail running/biking the trails are a short distance away. The owner is detail oriented and responds quickly when contacted. We liked having a balcony on each level. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again should we come back to Santa Catalina Island.

My wife and I ended up not being able to travel to Catalina due to weather but the host was extremely helpful and responsive in addressing any questions or concerns.

Birthday Vacation

House had everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots and pans. We enjoyed all the amenities the two decks were perfect for outdoor living. The bed was very comfortable. Location was close to downtown and restaurants. The entire house was very clean and spacious. We would love to return and stay again.

Peace in Paradise

Had a great time. Accommodations were great, loved the layout. Two bathrooms! Well stocked. Only problem was licking the front door. A combination of pressing, turning the knob and waiting to hear the "click". The exact door locking procedure could be included.

Excellent time spent at the little yellow house…

I treated my sister to a mini vacation on Santa Catalina Island. The little yellow house was perfect, excellent location, Marty was outstanding as a host. Everything was as described in the listing. We could ask for no more. The house was exceptionally clean, excellent views from the front deck. We cannot wait to return.!

The Yellow House in Avalon

Great place to stay for 2 people. Large kitchen with a loft bedroom. Has a balcony off kitchen and off bedroom. Homeowner is very responsive and friendly. Please be aware the condo is on the busiest street in Avalon.

Favorite easy getaway!

Marty and the Catalina Yellow House are the absolute best - we love this place so much we’ve returned multiple times over the past few years. Walking in the door feels like our own personal vacation home away from home - clean comfortable easy breezy and close to everything! Check in is always simple, Marty is very communicative and proactive with helpful info (we’ve even lucked out a few times with early arrival/late check out). Can’t beat the 2 ocean view decks and bonus full “toy box” with all sorts of fun ways to enjoy Catalina!

Fantastic Location in Avalon Paradise!

My husband and I had a great nearly weeklong stay at this property. Marty the owner was incredibly responsive before and during our visit. Super nice guy and really helpful. The home is on 2 levels and centrally located in the heart of the island. This is really convenient and the balconies are so lovely to sit and watch the flow of people and view the harbor. There is a bit of a noise factor if you are sensitive -- the street is busy, especially in the mornings with workers and deliveries arriving, but the neighborhood is quiet at night. We slept with the balcony doors open which was really pleasant. There is no AC, but the breeze from the sea air made it unnecessary, even in August. There are also fans provided, which had the added benefit of white noise and masking outdoor noise. The kitchen is well stocked and there is a wonderful "toy" room with bikes, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, fins, etc. There are 2 full bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) so we could each take one and spread our things out. Overall, the home is perfect for a couple. Maybe an added child (the sofa becomes a bed). Would not hesitate to return!

Beyond expectations!!

I really can't say enough about our stay in the 2 level Yellow House. We spent a few days there for my birthday and it was exceptional! The pictures don't do it justice. So much thought was put into making sure guests have everything they need for their stay. The kitchen was equipped like it was someone's home. The knives were sharp, the pans were real non-stick, the cabinet was full of spices, there was filtered water coming out of a small spicket in the kitchen sink, the double sink was deep, and you had everything utensil and appliance you could think of! The bed was super comfortable, I even asked where it was purchased and plan on buying one!! Even the sofa beds were comfortable to sleep and sit on. We enjoyed eating meals and having drinks on both decks (great views by the way). We needed a little assistance to figure out how to use the tv and Marty replied with a call within minutes to explain how to use it. We could access just about anything we wanted and the wi-fi was fast and reliable. It was a quick and easy walk from the ferry, around town to different restaurants and stores, and to the grocery store. I hands down highly recommend the Yellow House in Avalon without hesitation!

Hands down the best property I’ve ever rented in Catalina Island. The combination of cleanliness, responsiveness from the owner, location and the toy room with bikes, kayak, SUPs, etc, made up a great experience. As a couple we were there for 5 nights and enjoyed it throughly. Looking forward to going back. Marty, you were a great host, thank you!

I cannot recommend this place enough. The location is perfect, right downtown in the hustle and bustle. Marty, the host, is absolutely wonderful. He communicates quickly and makes sure to answer any questions! He is accomodating and goes above and beyond to make sure you have a great time. The toys available to use made our trip even better. The cleanliness of the house is always appreciated. The balconies were a great place to start your day with a cup of coffee and end your day with a nice cocktail or mocktail. We will be back and I will be recommending this location to all my friends and family!
