This cabin was an incredible getaway. The city of Algoma is quiet but has tons to offer. The quick 2 minute walk to the beach was great to watch the sun rise in the mornings.

Lovely little cabin tucked away along a forested road. Overall 10/10 stay with very few negatives. Place was clean on check in, and stocked with really anything you could think to need for a weekend stay. Easy to get to and get into. Hot tub was lovely. Firepit area was cute and fun. Lots of good options in the activity shed. We had a blast with the arcade room one night as well. Host was responsive and helpful when asked questions about the area.The only thing I would say that wasn't 100% as advertised is there was really no easy way to get into the lake. The access point mentioned in the description is all big rocks, not beach, and we couldn't see an easy way to get into the water. (See attached pics)Overall everything else was excellent and we would definitely stay here again!

Property was clean and spacious. We loved the outdoor equipment that was in the shed. The water was a bit more of a trek than we hoped for and would have been a bit much to drag a kayak to for us, but we had fun anyway!

The location was great for our group of 4 adult women staying in the area primarily to do day hiking on the trails located in the nearby state parks (Potawatomi, Peninsula, Newport). The Lake Michigan view across the road from the cabin was nice, but we were a bit disappointed to not be able to use the kayaks as there really was not close lake access and the shoreline too rocky to navigate. We did not partake of any of the items in the adventure shed, but it appeared to be well-stocked and accessible. We chose not to use the fire pit primarily because the Adirondack chairs were in need of a deep clean. We did, however, enjoy soaking in the hot tub after long days hiking. The interior of the cabin is not as bright and airy as what seemed to be depicted in the photos. Lighting could be better in the kitchen and main living areas downstairs and furniture and decor were a bit dated. The kitchen was well-stocked although some of the utensils and pots/pans need replacement. The coffee bar was a very nice amenity. The 4 bedrooms and main full bath are upstairs (steep steps). Rooms were good sizes and beds comfortable. It was nice for each of us to have our own place to sleep. The communication from our host was very good and the host was responsive to our needs and suggestions.

This is the perfect property for a secluded, cozy and romantic getaway. The hot tub was perfect! Sunrises were beautiful. Really enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was clean, cosy and had everything we needed (and more!). The host was really responsive and helpful when I contacted them. A lot of thought has been put into the property to enhance the experience of the guests - an "adventure shed", record player, arcade games, hot tub. The location is also excellent. A short walk to the beach and only a 15 minute drive to Sturgeon Bay. Downtown Algoma is also worth a stop for lunch and to visit the quaint shops! Our group is already discussing when we can visit again

Nice place. Very steep stairs to upstairs bedrooms. Well supplied with necessities. Very rocky beach access.

Great stay in Algoma

Great property with all the amenities you need. The bikes were a great touch! Steps away from Lake Michigan. Easy drive into sturgeon bay and the rest of door county. Definitely recommend for a family getaway.

Lovely home

The home is lovely—thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need, from a fully equipped kitchen to a supply shed filled with extras, cozy blankets, a hot tub, and even amenities for dogs. We loved the peaceful, secluded street, and it’s just a quick 15-minute drive to Sturgeon Bay.

Cozy, cute and a great escape!

This cabin was beautifully decorated, had all the amenities you could ever imagine. If you were traveling with kids or pets they have everything you could imagine you'd need while on vacation. We traveled mid March and I would love to return to this cabin in the summer to be able to spend time on the lake.
