What an amazing place! Quiet location that is perfect for relaxing. Just a short 10-15 minute drive to Colonial Beach. The kitchen is stunning and well stocked with everything you could need. Carmen was great to communicate with.

A beautiful and peaceful property. One of the nicest VRBOs we have rented. Everything you could possibly need is available. The place is well stocked. The view is great. The communication with the owner was pleasant and effortless. We hope to stay again!

This was our third time staying at Carmen's place. We love everything about it - huge and well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, large deck overlooking the water...Carmen is a very communicative and generous host.We will be back.

This house was beautifully maintained. It was exceptionally clean inside and very tastefully decorated. The kitchen was so well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The bathrooms were modern and had beautiful walk-in showers. The bedrooms were very comfortable and again beautifully decorated. Having the deck overlook the water added to the peacefulness of the location and you felt you didn't really want to leave to go anywhere else!The host, Carmen, was very responsive and nothing seemed too much trouble. We loved being able to take our dog and even he was provided for with dog bowls, dog beds, and a leash! We had a lovely few days stay and would love to return and will definitely recommend to friends.

Wonderful, well-stocked peaceful waterfront house

We were looking for a quiet weekend away and Carmen's place was just what we needed. There are many indoor and outdoor spaces with views of the "lake" (looks sort of like a canal). The place was spotless and was the most well-stocked rental I have ever stayed in, with lots of choices for coffee, hot drinks, and soda. It is about a 10 minute ride to town and we enjoyed the house so much that several times we got take out or groceries so we could eat at "home" instead. Carmen was great with communication. A+, 5 stars.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were impressed from the moment we arrived. The home was exceptionally clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully appointed with high-end amenities that made our visit both comfortable and relaxing. Every detail seemed carefully considered, creating a welcoming atmosphere that immediately felt like a home away from home.One of the standout touches was how well stocked everything was. The pantry and refrigerator were generously supplied with a wonderful assortment of coffee selections, condiments, and other essentials that made settling in effortless. We also greatly appreciated the quality cookware in the kitchen. The pots and pans were a refreshing change from the low-end cookware often found in vacation rentals and made preparing meals enjoyable and hassle-free. Combined with the peaceful surroundings, quiet atmosphere, and sense of privacy, it created the perfect place to unwind and recharge. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place to stay; we would gladly return and highly recommend it to others.
