It was the perfect get away weekend. The cottage is cozy and spotless. We loved the proximity to the park. Maureen was kind and communicated well. It was nice knowing they were right next door if we needed anything. We were greeted with delicious cookies.

Can’t ask for a better slice of paradise than this place! Such a stunning view of both sunset and sunrise with a cup of coffee by the lake. Cozy guesthouse with such a friendly, knowledgeable hostess. Literally within a stone throw from all the wonderful farm stands to get all the fresh food for eating in. Can’t ask for a better place to relax and still be close to all the fun cities, wineries and such to visit.

The rental was perfect, clean, and exactly as described, with a gorgeous view of Lake Ontario and easy access to nearby parks. Maureen and her husband were delightful! Highly recommend.

This cottage was perfect for a solo traveler. The views of Lake Ontario are amazing. I could hear the waves through the open windows. I was a little concerned from some of the pictures about how far it was from the cottage to the lake but it was just steps away. Maureen and Darcy were very friendly. Maureen even brought me a slice of spice cake one day.

The inside was very clean, but the outside near the waterfront was pretty messy.

I am unsure of what you mean by your comment. The waterfront is always well maintained. We have wooden steps to the water that are stained yearly. The grass is mowed weekly. The lakeside deck is professionally landscaped. All your private comments were so positive. Please private message me to clarify what your concern was. If there is anything we could have done better, we’ll address it immediately!

Our 1 week stay at this cottage was exactly what we needed. Maureen was an amazing host and had everything we needed, down to an age appropriate water table for my child to play with. (For reference we traveled with 2 adults a small child and a small dog). She was very excited to host and very responsive. Everything is wonderfully thought out, and the little notes inside her info binder made it that much better. The listing describes and depicts exactly what you get and see. The view of the lake was spectacular and breathtaking for someone who has never been to the Great Lakes. The sunsets were stunning and picture perfect! The location is perfect for a get away, it is quiet, relaxing and everyone is friendly. Perfectly located for day trips to Canada, buffalo, or Seneca Park. If you’re looking for a small (and close) family vacation or a romantic getaway this cottage is for you!

We had such a lovely stay. Maureen was such a pleasure to work with. We mostly took day trips to Niagara Falls, Fort Niagara, Letworth State Park and many local parks and waterfalls. Being right by the water was so relaxing and rejuvenating. It was exactly what we needed to get away from it all for a week.

Beautiful solitude

Quiet and quaint. Very helpful and friendly hosts. Outstanding views of lake. Very walkable area and short walk to Lakeside State Park. Great fire fly action at dusk, like jewels in the trees. Very special place.

fantastic lake view!

Such a clean, organized and thoughtful space! Plenty of walkability for us (that was dog friendly) and the beauty of the lake was just great.The outdoor area overlooking the water was quiet and relaxing which we enjoyed-after walking over to the frisbee golf park (to play) just a few minutes away.

Peaceful and quiet

We loved our stay! The house was clean and tidy, and had all amenities listed. The view and the location were second to none. The owners were next door and friendly and accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay here again. So enjoyable!
