The cabin is beautiful and peaceful. Kaitlin is a great host. Excellent communication and overall just a very lovely stay. Was great for our family including a 9 and 5 year old.

Pretty easy to find, just a long drive up a mountain road. Good seating all around inside and outside. Fire pit and surrounding area was nice, lots of firewood was delivered before we got there. We had plenty of space for 8 people to relax and sleep. Right down the road is a lookout with a fantastic view. Loved everything about this place.

This is a lovely cabin in a beautiful area. The hosts were on top of everything and very responsive. The cabin was very clean and stocked with all the essentials. If you're looking to get off the beaten path, this is a great place to do so!

Worked as a good place to stay while we rode dual sport motorcycles in the area. A few improvements and work needed as discussed with the host, but they are working to make the place even better.

Very peaceful and relaxing cabin and area. We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and the property manager was wonderful. She took care of a couple of small issues right away! If we come back to the area, we will definitely stay there again!

We only stayed one night for some relaxation as part of taking our daughter on a tour of colleges in the area. It was a great house with everything you could need. We wish we could have stayed longer.

This property is 1 hr from State College and 2 miles in from the main road in the woods. It is cute, comfortable and clean. Baseboard heating if effective. Owners are very responsive. Overall great experience for 1 night stay on our way to NYC which is 3.5 hrs away.

Quiet family vacation

This vrbo is very private, peaceful, and well maintained. The beds are very comfortable and the house was very clean. Kitchen was very well stocked. Kaitlin was very accommodating. Hopefully we can return someday.

Fantastic get-away

The property was immaculately maintained and well appointed. The large dining table was great for group meals and the outdoor firepit was great for evening campfires and tall tales.

Thanksgiving getaway

The family gets together for Thanksgiving every year and this mountain cabin was perfect for us to relax and visit with one another. At 1800' up, we got snow that we enjoyed, but sadly didn't see any bears. :-)

Nephew’s wedding

We stayed there for our nephew’s wedding in Mifflinburg which was an easy and short drive away. Very peaceful location and exactly as advertised. If I had to pick on something it would be that the water pressure was low in the kitchen. We enjoyed our stay!

Spacious secluded cabin in the woods

Excellent communication with host. Mountain road to access cabin was in great condition. Property was spacious and exceptionally clean. Very well stocked kitchen. Bathrooms also had plenty of supplies. Comfortable furniture/beds. It was windy so we didnt utilize the firepit area but it looked welcoming and there's nice outdoor lighting. Would recommend & stay again if the need arises.

A hidden gem!

Booked this last minute to a circumstance beyond my control. Had 10 guests for my daughter's graduation from PSU. The owner was very responsive in all communications. This property felt like home! Cozy and spacious inside and inviting on the outside. Enjoyed the fire pit, corn hole and beuatiful scenery. Highly recommend this property if you want to be in nature.

Kaitlin is marvelous host. EVERYTHING in this beautiful custom cabin home is so warming, and inviting. Decorated, like Martha Stewart should take notes. (oo). The photos do not do this georgious retreat in the mountains justice. Walking into the foyer, your blown away by the warmth, and charm. BiGG master bedroom, 2 big beautiful bedroom, up, enuff comfy seating for a house full. All you need is provisions , - Thats It... P U

The house is beautiful! Pictures don't do it justice! We stayed during a heat wave and the house was perfectly cold just the way we like it! The morning was full of birds singing and beautiful sunshine and the evenings were quiet and dark with no city noise! Everything was clean and fresh for our arrival! There was plenty of space for our family of 6 and our 2 dogs. We got to see so much wildlife and enjoyed hikes around the house! Our host recommended a beautiful sunset lookout as well as many other fun activities to keep us busy!! The host was amazing!! She was just a text/call away and very quick to reply!! The price was great!! We were able to extend our vacation by 2 days with the savings!! I can not say enough good things about this place!! It was a perfect mountain getaway!!
