This cottage is darling and lots of room to spread out with a larger gathering. Well stocked kitchen allowed us to cook and entertain. Impeccably clean and so cute. We had a wonderful stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Once we figured out the route, it was only a 10 minute walk to the metro. It was a quiet street; we felt safe and enjoyed the Arlington area. It was nice to have the downstairs, a whole other living room, bedroom and bath. The upstair’s bedrooms were a little warm at night even with the AC running, but the master does have a ceiling fan and we found a fan to run in the back bedroom. That helped a lot. Chris answered all our questions in a timely manner, and we appreciate appreciated that. It’s a charming house to stay in and would stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at Clarendon Cottage. The place was clean and comfortable providing plenty of space for our family to prepare meals and hang out together. Having off-street parking was also most convenient.

Great house, great location, great host! This house was perfect for our crew of 6. Plenty of space, had all the amenities we could have ever needed, and the host was super to work with. The location was excellent as it was a 15 min walk to the Metro and short drives just about anywhere else. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Great house for our crowd of 6. Easy location for Ubering into Georgetown and other DC area attractions! House was very clean. The neighborhood around it was good for walking. Chris is a very responsive host!

Relaxing in the city

Clarendon cottage was a restful and enjoyable stay with plenty of room for our party of five. The home was one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed and the owner could write a guidebook on how to make people feel comfortable and welcome. This place was perfect.

Cute Quiet and Clean

Clarendon Cottage was great. It was quiet, clean and the perfect distance to the area attractions. Great location with easy access to the main travel corridors without all the noise. Quiet secluded neighborhood and outside patios were the perfect place to unwind after our busy days of activities.

Great house

We stayed with our kids while visiting DC. It is a great location with restaurants nearby and the Courthouse Metro a short walk away plus the Metro ride itself is a short ride to the popular sites in DC. The house is in a quiet neighborhood but had plenty of room for the 5 of us.

Great cottage!

Great place to bring our family! We brought our kids for the first time to visit all the monuments and this place made the experience even better. Close to the metro, host provided great communication and information. We were greeted with a snack basket and a cozy place to stay at. Thank you!

Way Better Than Expected

This was such a great find. But when we showed up, the design of the home was even better in person. Centrally located, easy parking, automated locked door, all the essentials, and clean/very organized. We will plan to stay here next time we’re in the area!

What a WONDERFUL find! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Clarendon Cottage --- the original Arlington home is charming, cozy, & comfortable. Highlights include: 1) off-street parking for 3 cars (UNHEARD of in this location), 2) location - centrally located & easy to get anywhere you need to be in the DMV. We especially enjoyed the walkability to Clarendon where we had several tasty dinners! 3) SPACE - the cottage is surprisingly spacious which allowed our group to spreadh out and be comfortable, 4) Host (Chris) is extremely responsive, and he went out of his way to accommodate our last minute reservation which I GREATLY appreciated. Chris has thoughtfully considered his guest every need providing snacks, filtered water, luggage racks, toiletries/towels, and a whole host of amenities which we happily leveraged 5) Bed in the primary bedroom is SOOO COMFORTABLE - we slept great which is not always the case at a VRBO. 6) Laundry - perfect for extended stays & Chris even provides some laundry pods. THANK YOU CHRIS for being an AMAZING host and sharing your beautiful cottage. What a gem -- I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Our stay 3/12-3/16/2024

We arrived early in DC and visted the Arlington Cemetery and were only 10 minutes from the property. We were within 5-10 minutes of the Metro. This property is located in a quiet neighborhood, but close enough to everything we wanted to do. We had 3 kids that took over the basement and kept them entertained. Very nice patio area and had an overall great stay. Chris was very accomadating and a helpful. We would definitely stay again. Five Stars

The house was in a nice neighborhood and felt very safe. It was clean and comfortable. Walkable to the Metro. As a family of 6, it was nice to put the teenagers downstairs and give them their own space. Overall, a great stay and would visit again!

This was our 1st VRBO and it was a wonderful experience. The home is located on a quiet, dead end road with a trail behind it. The deck was so nice to sit out on to enjoy a cup of coffee and our meals and to play some cards. We were so close to the sites of DC and getting an Uber was affordable and easy when we didn't want to drive into the city. This home was a great way to unwind after a long day walking. The host was fantastic in answering my questions.
