We booked this VRBO for a nearby wedding and really loved this quaint unit with lots of charm and character, and really appreciated the serene setting on a really nice piece of property. The pictures listed were a perfect depiction of the unit and property (no deception whatsoever). Like many others have said, this unit is back in the hills a little bit, but not so bad after making the first drive to the property. And the host is terrific. Very friendly and responsive.

Got lost a little bit trying to find it but when I get there it was worth the drive it was stunning!! Not much ventilation and air flow in the house is my only complaint but it wasn’t that big of a deal. Great communication, beautiful place, wonderful sights, quiet and peaceful away from the city!

So glad you enjoyed the Cottage, thanks for your kind words. I wish you had mentioned issues with airflow. There are mini split ACs in the living area and bedroom. I’m thinking you maybe didn’t realize you could turn up the fan? Since there are 9 doors to the outside, I don’t think you meant no airflow from the outside. In any case, next time please do ask if there’s an issue. In over a decade of renting, airflow has never before been a complaint. You were here during a heatwave, but the AC is new and works well.

We got stuck on the road coming in but Lynn and her son were very helpful seeing us to the cottage. Fresh eggs from the chickens were excellent. We relaxed while swimming, napping, cooking and sun bathing for 2.5 days. I didn' want to leave and I would come back.

The property is secluded and very private. Host was quick to answer questions and very pleasant. Beautiful spot with lots of birds, frogs, and lizards. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This place is even better in person than it is online. Lynn was a phenomenal host. The decor was fitting for the environment and really cool!Make sure to eat at some of the local restaurants nearby! You won’t be disappointed.

Cottage was phenomenal!! The house is beautiful and comfortable and the views are breathtaking. The whole place is magical. Lynn was incredibly responsive and friendly. You’re in her guest house so she’s right there if you need anything but you still have tons of privacy. Perfect for a solo traveler or a romantic getaway.Note that the road to the house is no joke! It’s well maintained but narrow, steep, winding, although a regular car can handle it. Just go slow and arrive in daylight if you can - I’d say it’s about 10 minutes off the main road. But you don’t get this kind of Garden of Eden paradise if it’s too easy to get there! Also bring provisions - while there are relatively nearby shops (15 min), once you arrive you will not want to leave. The kitchen was well stocked w cookware, oils, spices, but you will want to arrive with groceries.So tempted to keep this secret cottage for myself but I’ve already told everyone I know about it. :)
