It is a very nice place that is very quiet. It was a great location for us. We found plenty to do in and around town. We are interested in coming back and staying again if not another room on the property.

An artistic retreat in Georgia O'Keefe country. Very comfortable. Close to Ghost Ranch (great hikes), beautiful sunsets with a view of Pedernal, country quiet.

Perfect location convenient to Georgia O'Keefe Visitor Center & house/studio tour. Unique architecture with stunning views of Abiquiu valley. Loved the cozy stone bathroom.

Charming home, beautifully and uniquely appointed. Beautiful and vast views, yet easy and convenient location. Our stay at La Biblioteca was an experience in itself. We loved our slow mornings, gorgeous sunsets, and calming star gazing after adventuring around Abiquiu each day. Thank you for such a warm and unique stay, we will be back!

We had difficulty getting the stoves to heat the bedroom and bathroom. Surprised there was no TV. Very clean, interesting decor. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful views, creative New Mexico style

We enjoyed the gorgeous views and rustic and creative New Mexico style of the Biblioteca. Kitchen was complete for cooking meals, bedroom was comfortable, cozy and warm in the winter, and the cobblestone shower and bathroom were unique and fun. The porch with couch and table were perfect for sunsets with a glass of wine looking out at Pedernal Mountain.

Potential guests should take the "eclectic" in the listing description seriously. This is an authentically idiosyncratic space in an authentically idiosyncratic place, and it might not be what everyone is looking for. It's exactly what we were looking for, and we could not have been more satisfied with the opportunity to bunk up comfortably, if not luxuriously, in this very special place. If we ever have a chance to return to Abiquiu, we won't bother exploring area listings. We'll come straight back to La Biblioteca and plan our trip around its available dates. Special props for the spacious rustic bathroom and friendly neighbor dogs.

Perfect desert gem!

This little home was so adorable!! It had everything we needed and the a/c was super cold. The views! The decor! We felt transported to another time and kept finding new things to point out to each other daily. Details... Wifi worked great and bring a laptop if you want to stream a show as there is no TV. Bathroom is well stocked with toiletries. Kitchen has the basic essentials (coffee, oils, seasonings). We will be back!
