Great Cabin

The cabin is beautiful and has a great view. The host was responsive. The cabin was really cold, the wood on the property was outside so was covered in snow and wet, we couldn’t use it until the next day. That’s our only negative part of our stay, lovely otherwise.

Beautiful property with a great view

We loved this cabin and were so sad to leave at the end of the week. It looked exactly like the photos, only the view was even better in real life! We spent many happy times looking out at the view and eating outside on the decking. The owner was responsive and kind, going out of her way to help us with a special request. The beds were comfortable, the sofas great and there was everything that we needed to feel cosy like blankets and board games. The kitchen was well equipped, no peeler or toaster which seems to be normal in Norway, but it did have a kettle and microwave. The location was ok, we visited Hamar and Stange and its not to far from a local supermarket (15 mins drive). We did some beautiful walks. A day trip into Oslo. Something to note - the attic room with the two small doubles was a nice space if you are not too tall - however the stairs to it were steep and very slippery. Unfortunately my other half slipped coming down on the first night when wearing socks, and really hurt his back. It would certainly not be suitable space for use by anyone with any mobility issues or over a certain age. However we would certainly recommend this property, and would love to stay here again. It was a highlight of our summer.

It’s very recommended, the view is fantastic, the house was clean, and the host was helpful and easy to communicate with.
