We were 2 persons rented in June. The house clean was well equipped and did have an outdoor grill, however we chose to dine out for dinner. Great location. Great to have the laundry facilities.

This home was absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations! The location in Winthrop was perfect, right next to the Susie Stevens trail system and the cute Barnyard cinema, making it easy to enjoy everything the area has to offer. The home itself was high-end, beautifully appointed, and well equipped with everything you could need, from quality cookware to a fully stocked spice cabinet. It truly felt like a home away from home. The outdoor space was especially lovely, backing up to a peaceful creek surrounded by aspens and birch trees. Every detail made our stay feel special. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Winthrop! A true gem! The host was lovely and communication was seamless. Thank you again!

Great Location in Winthrop

Perfect location for exploring the Winthrop area. Close to the trail system and within walking distance of our favorite restaurants. All the necessities for relaxing after a day outdoors with an amazing kitchen for those who love to cook on vacation! Would definitely stay again!

Lucky Star Cabin Heaven!

This home is perfect! Location is great and easy to find and within easy walking distance of the beautiful library, the Winthrop Nordic trailhead, the ice rink, restaurants and shops of Winthrop. It is beautifully furnished and has a dream kitchen with everything you need.

Great cabin and location

thx for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. our stay was great, we enjoyed the north Cascades, hikes and star gazing at night. Cabin is very well maintained, great appliances. we liked everything about it. overall great stay, would recommend it to friends and families with kids.

We love the gourmet kitchen and enjoyed spending time in the lovely living room, especially with the fire stove on. Also liked the gear room and access to the carport. The blinds in the bedrooms were a little hard to figure out, but that was the only hitch. Otherwise lucky star cabin is a very special place and we’d love to rent again.

Holiday stay

The Lucky Star Cabin is a fantastic home base to explore the town of Winthrop. It’s modern, clean and has everything you’ll need and more. The kitchen is well appointed and spacious and we loved the gas fireplace in the great room. It heats up the house and makes it very cozy. They have a bookshelf full of games and puzzles that my family loved! It’s a short walk to the grocery store, the ice rink, library and downtown area. Denise was wonderful to work with and we highly recommend her cabin!

Amy was a wonderful guest. She was great to communicate with and took great care of the property. Even the cleaning team commented on how great of a guest Amy was. We would be happy to have Amy back to the Lucky Star Cabin any time.

Wow. Blown away by the kindness and attentiveness of Denise (host) and the house was amazing. It was wildfire season, and she knew I had concerns, so she gave me a heads up about one with up-to-date local pictures from the neighbor. Luckily it didn't affect our stay due to the efforts of the brave firefighters. The house was immaculate and you can see and feel the care and detail put into every part of the it - kitchen, bedrooms, living room, etc. It's like she already knew what we needed before we knew we needed it ourselves! There are already rave reviews about the kitchen and cooking, utensils, etc. so I'll just confirm that yes, it is amazing. 5 stars!

Wonderfully modern cabin / 2BR house in a contemporary and very quiet neighborhood! Very new and clean with an incredibly well-designed and welcoming open kitchen / living area. All the modern appliances, TV, internet, washer/dryer, A/C you would want in a new build in the city, but situated in a lovely modern neighborhood at the eastern gateway to the Cascades. The owner provided an impressive array of premium kitchenware. We used the coffee maker and coffee, toaster, induction range, and gourmet baking equipment almost daily. The location in Winthrop on the Methow Trail system is a 10-15 minute walk to the old-West style downtown. This house backs onto a small creek. A buck and doe stopped by occasionally to look into the living room to see who was home. It was the perfect location for us to drive out each day to the numerous hiking trails along Hwy 20 (be sure to visit the friendly Methow Valley Ranger District station and the local outdoor store for hiking info and supplies). This house looks like it would be a great place for the winter sports that are available in the Methow Valley (world-class cross-country skiing and a very popular open-air skating/hockey arena within minutes' walk). Awesome stay - thank you!
