Charming free standing Casita in Taos, NM

Our Casita is an inviting vacation rental located in Taos, New Mexico. The two bedroom, two bath house offers breathtaking views of sunsets off the back portal, and east views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. We provide our guests with the utmost comfort by supplying them with organic sheets, towels, mattresses and bed pillows. We also use non-toxic cleaning products and provide non-toxic soaps. The kitchen is appointed with fiesta ware, stainless cookware & a non-toxic non-stick frying pan. Mexican glassware and more.

The house is conveniently located approximately 4 miles from the Taos Plaza and Taos Country Club golf course, making it the perfect location for a getaway. We are also located 22 miles from the Taos Ski Valley. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore the area, our Casita is the perfect home away from home.

The casita is such a dreamy, desert stay. We enjoyed watching sunsets from the back patio. It’s beautifully decorated as well. We appreciated the use of all non-toxic soaps and cleaning products.

We loved our stay at Katy’s! The house makes great use of the space and the location was convenient and easy to find. Katy was communicative and even let us know we could arrive early, which I really appreciated. We would definitely stay here again if heading to Taos.

We had such an amazing stay in this wonderful, little Casita. It is a true Taos Jem! Katy was a fabulous host and available for all of our questions and needs. Driving the small backgrounds to the Taos Plaza gives you an authentic experience and takes you back in time. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

Gorgeous Taos vacation rental

Highly recommend this beautiful, well appointed casita!! It is stylish, comfortable, and a fantastic location for adventures around the Taos area. Hosts were excellent and we were pleasantly surprised by the extra touches that made us feel at home during our stay. Convenient to ski areas and local restaurants and shopping.

Perfect Stay for Family Spring Break

We absolutely love staying in this Casita. The home was stunning, spotless and spacious for our family of four plus pet. It was brimming with beautiful, special touches and the home owners were extremely kind and communicative. 10/10 experience and location for Taos Spring Break ski trip. Gem of a rental!

This is a great rental! So much character! Great location with proximity to downtown and skiing in Sipapu. Close to the Gorge. We had an amazing stay here and can’t wait to come back! Host was easy to access for communication and replied so quickly. Everything about this was wonderful!

Katy’s quiet casa

What a delightful, quiet, and cozy little house! It’s an excellent launchpad for adventures of all sorts: visit Taos, explore restaurants, and enjoy the New Mexico outdoors. It’s outside of town and that’s just lovely: close enough for adventure, remote for relaxing and stargazing.

There’s no words to describe how beautiful is the house , you can tell Katy put love in every single detail , we had everything and more to enjoy our little ski vacay with our dogs, everything is close by , Katy was the best host ever , we are defending going back next year ❤️..

Very clean comfortable stylish Casita. Big yard and ample parking. Host was very helpful with check-in and directions. A little hard to find at night. We will stay here again!

Weekend Retreat

Katy’s place was the perfect home away from home. Beautifully decorated in a quiet neighborhood with gorgeous mountain views. The big fenced backyard was a nice bonus while traveling with our dog. The host was very thoughtful with chips and salsa upon arrival and supplied coffee and creamer. We will definitely stay again!

Perfect New Mexico hospitality experience

This property is beautiful! Like new, very clean, and had everything we needed. Perfect amount of space for our family of four. The views are amazing! We loved sitting outside on the patio, taking in the scenery. The host was an excellent communicator. Cannot recommend enough!

A True Delight

This charming and cozy casita exceeded our expectations! Conveniently located yet has a quiet and rural feel. There was nothing that hasn’t been thought of in making this a very comfortable stay. Soft sheets, fluffy towels, beautiful dishware and exquisite decor! Katy is a wonderful hostess that goes out of her way to make your stay feel extra special!

Home away from home!

This house felt brand new! 5+ Stars, for sure. The decor was beautiful and it had everything we needed (and more). The sunrise view over the mountains is beautiful. The host was very clear, prompt to reply, and accommodating. If/when back to Taos we would definitely stay here again!
