Harrell’s Haven-Waterfront, Dock, Pool/Hot tub

Our home is a piling beach house with our main living upstairs. The enclosed bottom is a studio apartment/suite for you to enjoy. We are on the peaceful Davis Canal with a dock where you can spend time drinking coffee or cocktails, reading, fishing, kayaking, boating and enjoying sunrises/sunsets. Enjoy the beautiful, shared in ground pool and hot tub area. We are two blocks from the beach, a quick, easy walk or bike ride.
The space:
It is a private studio apartment with a private entrance, a queen bed, private bathroom with tile shower and towel warmer, and a blue tooth fan for enjoying music. The living area has a comfortable, reclining couch. There is no kitchen, but there is a microwave, fridge, coffee pot with pods and coffee. Dishes, silverware, and wine glasses are provided. Enjoy the shared pool area with hot tub and the shared dock area. The grill is available for you to use. Bikes, chairs , kayaks and backpack cooler are by elevator for use.

Someone will be available for any concerns.
Other things to note
We have a private dock for boat docking for a fee.
We have two friendly dogs that will bark when they see you, but just want attention.

Wonderful stay here- beautiful, clean, comfortable beds, and all the amenities you could need. It’s the perfect weekend getaway! The hosts are friendly and go above and beyond. This is like a little slice of heaven and we can’t wait to come visit again. We will be back!

The Best!

This little oasis on Oak Island is the perfect couples retreat. It was one of our best VRBO experiences in the last couple years. The hosts are amazing and their space reflects how much they’re invested in the property. It’s so refreshing to stay at a VRBO that’s owned by private owners and not a conglomerate or business. It makes such a difference to the experience.

A really nice romantic getaway for two people. The kayaks, bicycles, pool and hot tub make for delightful vacation without having to go anywhere else. And the homeowners are delightful couple.

Best Place To Stay!!

This was by far the best place I have stayed. It was very clean and smelled amazing. The homeowners are so nice, our favorite part of the trip was hanging out with the homeowners and their kids. Such a sweet family and beautiful place to stay. If I could stay every weekend I would!

Hosts made us feel like one of the family. Property is close to the beach yet away from the crowds. Plenty of dining options nearby. Location is at the end of the road and on the canal.

Great stay

The host are very welcoming and warm. The room was very clean and had everything that you could need. It was just my husband and I , we had a great time! The host and his family were using the pool. They were so welcoming to us to come use it with them super kind people. I would definitely stay here again! The location is ideal for anything you want to do whether it be food or the beach. The area in general is full of super welcoming, friendly people. also way less crowded than any beach we’ve ever been to. We will be back .

Long weekend + Wedding

This was our first stay here and it definitely will not be our last. We look forward to many more opportunities to visit oak island and their amazing place to stay. Jason and Nicole were extremely hospitable. They made sure everything was perfect. The location is super close to the beach and dining options. They supply all the amenities to make it a relaxing stay.

We greatly enjoyed our stay and, while we were only there for one night, greatly enjoyed all of the amenities provided, including the hot tub! Chose to stay here the night before the Oak Island Marathon, and ended up winning 1st overall! Hospitality

I stay in rental properties often due to traveling for work. Harrells Haven is by far the best experience I have ever had with a host. They were very friendly and super accommodating. The studio style rental was very cozy and had many cool features. It was very clean. We fished from the dock and were very close to the beach and many good restaurants. I highly recommend for a couple looking to get away for the weekend. We will definitely be back.

Relaxing & peaceful

We loved Harrell's Haven. Nicole & Jason are awesome host. They go the extra mile to make your stay the best. Also informative since they know the area, so well. The pool was so relaxing and nice. Loved the beach, easy walk if that is your thing. We met family for dinner and played golfed locally. Thanks to Harrells for making our week. Highly recommend. Loved our stay. 🙂 Cheers

Christmas Vacay

The property was just amazing. The space that we stayed in was extremely clean, cozy and just perfect for us we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and were thrilled to be able to dock our boat on their dock. we will most definitely be back. It was a perfectly cozy Christmas for us. The owners of the property were very friendly, and we were thrilled to be able to meet their entire family.
