A great place to stay, excellent interior space, plenty of outdoor living space and everything is very well appointed, you won’t leave wanting for anything but more time at the Art House!!

A beautiful getaway house was nice and clean and comfy yet unique and artsy feel and the views were just beautiful and the outdoor areas were definite plus. we were able to bring our two furry friends and they adapted very nicely and we’re definitely cozy too. interesting small towns nearby and great for just taking long drive drives and enjoy enjoying nature.

Fantastic secluded home for family and dogs for a quick getaway. Communication and location were both great. Lots of wonderful restaurants are very close by.

This was one of the best VRBO properties we have ever rented. The photos and description of the property was absolutely accurate and honest. Our stay was very comfortable and the host provided all the necessary kitchen equipment and bedding. Just fabulous!

This property was all that it promised! It was clean, and had everything we could have possibly needed, in the kitchen and throughout the house. The Host was very responsive to our needs. It was easy to get in to the property and the Welcome paperwork and book were very helpful. The beds were comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was great! The location is spectacular. It was the perfect place for a Gilmore Girls trip. We loved our time at the Art House! The doorbell was a real treat!Thank you!

This was a great place and the layout was very open and inviting. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The outdoor patio and fireplace were our favorite! It was also conveniently located for our plans. Would definitely stay here again!

We had the best girls weekend at The Art House! Jessica and Jon were so helpful and communicative and stayed in touch over the weekend to be sure we had all we needed. The house is absolutely beautiful and everything was perfect with our stay! We can't wait to come back if they'll have us! Our stay was absolutely perfect. The property was impeccable—every detail was thoughtfully curated, and the artwork was simply stunning. The location couldn’t have been better—it was serene and ideal for rest and relaxation, especially for a girls’ trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway—highly recommend!

A great farm style house on a beautiful lot. The kitchens was stocked with all essentials and the property was relaxing and enjoyable. It appeared the sheets could be replaced. Some had some older stains on them but were still clean and the Rest of the house was very clean.

We loved everything about our stay! It’s a beautiful home and we enjoyed holiday dinners around the dining table and gathering around the fireplace. The beds and pillows were comfy too!

Thank you so much for opening your incredible home for our weekend getaway! The house was beautifully appointed and had everything we needed for 4 adults & 2 (almost 2 yo) toddlers.Highlights included a trip to the Everwonder kids museum and Nordica toys. The living room was perfect for an early 2000s dance party. The kitchen and bathrooms had everything we might have needed and everything was clean, and beautiful!

We have stayed in many vacation rentals over the years. This is easily in my top 2 of all time. There is not one thing I could criticize. Comfy beds, private/secluded location, great kitchen, plenty of room/seating, and very clean and well maintained with awesome wood floors and well done exposed beams. The location was perfect and close to good dining and New Milford. If we are ever up this way again, we will definitely stay here. Book it...you won't regret it!

The property was beautiful. Location was close to family that live in the area. The house was big enough for my family and we loved the fire pit in the back. We will definitely book again when we come to Connecticut if it is available
