Built in the early 1900's and fully renovated. The Blue Moon House has it all!  Five bedrooms offering a king or queen bed and each with it's own private bathroom.  A gourmet kitchen with a large dining area, a living area with a fireplace, large 'smart' flat screen television and plenty of seating. Guests can enjoy the outdoor gardens and the large deck area with more seating and private parking.

Fantastic house. Lots of room. Kitchen is huge and fully stocked with plates, pots,pans, utensils. Large refrig and oven. Rooms are good size and each have their own bathroom. Nice bedding and towels. We had three couples there and would have been very comfortable with 2 more couples. Host is very responsive. 15 minute walk to the area where the plays are performed. Would definitely stay there again.

The 5 bedrooms each with thirr own bathroom was great. Kitchen had slmodt everything needed. Coffee pot & TV directions would be helpful.

Four sisters in our 70's doing a one-week "sistercation" in Ashland to attend the Shakespeare Festival. The location was perfect, and we appreciated the first-floor bedroom for the eldest sister, everyone having their own bathroom, walkable location for getting to town and interesting area for daily walks. Short drive for groceries, CVS etc. The well-appointed kitchen was spacious for fixing our own meals, combined with great restaurants nearby. Easy communication with host. Some of the artwork on the walls is a little funky, but added to the charm. Everything was in good repair, and clean. In addition to the plays, we enjoyed the Ashland Escape Rooms (we did both options) and afternoon tea at Lovejoy's Tea Room. Easy for up to catch up around the dining room table or in the living room or back deck, but room for us to each have privacy as needed.

This property surpassed our expectations. It was close enough to downtown that we walked everywhere, it was spacious (there were 8 of us) allowing everyone to feel comfortable. There was a lovely patio out back where we spent a lot of our time. We also perused through the scrapbook of them restoring the house and were shocked at the change. This place is a beautiful piece of history that helped create lifelong memories for our family.

This was a very charming home full of history. It was perfect for two families. The kitchen was the bomb! It was great to have a bathroom in every bedroom. It's walking distance to downtown. I highly recommend The Blue Moon House.

An ideal location to walk to Ashland Shakespeare productions and downtown restaurants. A comfortable, cottage feeling with a great kitchen and outdoor seating space. We were four couples and really enjoyed how little we heard one another when we weren't in the common spaces together

Perfect house for a large group!

Our annual trip to Ashland includes 8-11 people and the Blue Moon is perfect! The well-appointed kitchen makes large meals a breeze, and everyone has their own space (and bathroom!)

Spacious well-located home - convenient to theaters

This lovely (former?) b and b is spacious, clean, and comfortable. We met two other couples there to enjoy Ashland and were able to walk to the theaters, restaurants, shopping, and to Lithia Park. It was very hot in Ashland for most of our stay but we stayed cool in the A/C. Because it was a B and b every bedroom has its own bathroom. We have stayed in several places around Ashland and bend and this is one of the best.

Fun eclectic place!

This house worked great for us! There were four of us in our group of besties and we each had our own bedroom with bathroom. Kitchen was well stocked and a fun little cafe style professional one!It's great for a group of adults. I don't know that it would be good for anyone with children or anyone with difficulties going up and downstairs. Nice patio on the back side and really enjoyed our time in Ashland!

Great stay!

The Blue Moon house is super convenient to all the things you want to do in Ashland. It was extremely clean and comfortable and the kitchen was really well stocked for any cooking you might want to do. We had 5 women and so definitely appreciated each bedroom having its own bathroom. We had a small issue with the water heater and the host was extremely responsive and communicative and efficient in getting it fixed. I really appreciate that. Would definitely stay here again. again.

Excellent Host

Here are the positives: Valisatie, the host, was very easy to communicate with and responded to all our needs as soon as she could. She was really good. The location is great, within walking distance to downtown and not far from the Food Co-op. A nice little city park was just down the block and another one was nearby. I would have given this home a higher rating but there were also some major problems. The heat went out all afternoon one day so the December cold made the house uncomfortable until the heat was fixed. That same day and all the next day the internet went out so there was no WiFi and no TV. It was not fixed before we left even though Valisatie tried to get it to happen. Also, blinds in the two downstairs bedrooms were broken and on one window we had to tie a blanket on sconce holders to provide necessary privacy. Finally, the weirdest thing was around 11pm when it was raining one night a window in its frame fell into the bedroom at the top of the stairs. Fortunately our daughter was in there with her two kids or they would have been very scared. The window had been duct taped in place!! But that was hidden by window curtains until the window fell into the room. Clearly, the owner of the house needs to do several repairs and updates.
