We had an incredible stay. The house was clean and had everything you could need. We loved the lake views from each level. Sitting on the dock chairs was so relaxing. The location is perfect for quick trips to enjoy Lake Michigan beaches. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, clean, fully remodeled Lake cottage with very comfortable furniture, especially the beds! Although it’s located on a major road, insulation and double paned windows kept the environment very quiet… We slept soundly every night. Lakefront was a joy. Fantastic views and spectacular sunsets nightly. Very well equipped kitchen with newer appliances, including dishwasher and garbage disposal. Convenient gas grill located just off the main level. Pleasant patios on both the upper and lower level with easy access to the dock and Lakeshore for swimming. Easy offstreet Parking.I can’t say enough about our hosts, Nick and Katie contacted us twice to see if we had any questions and ensure that our stay was going well. All in all, a great great stay and we highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The house is beautiful and has all the amenities you can think of. It was very clean and greatly organized, perfect for a family with kids, giving them their own space in the lower level. Only a short drive to Crystal mountain resort. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Fabulous place to stay!

The house had ALL the comforts of home plus extras! The beds were super comfy which is always a big bonus when you're away from home. Great hosts, quick responses and an overall awesome location! Parking is tight and pulling in and out of the drive takes focus and patience.

Beautiful lake house! Was extremely clean. Had everything we needed. Hosts were very responsive and made our vacation go smoothly. Highly recommend staying.

Great Get-away

What a great property. Perhaps the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on and the view over Bear Lake was awesome. Great hosts. Clean house. Great experience! Can't wait to book there again.

The best lake!

The hosts curated such a convenient stay by thinking of so many things that were so nice to have. Little things like makeup towels and so many blankets/pillows and big things like so many places to sit outside, a labeled kitchen and large/comfortable common areas. The lake is clean, the house is clean and the hosts were great! Would stay again!

This home has a fully furnished kitchen so there was no need to bring items from home. The beds were very comfortable and clean. There were additional chairs available to accommodate all eight members of my family at the main table. My grandkids loved watching the ice fishermen on the lake. The hosts were ideal to deal with and had prompt attention to any request.

Thoroughly enjoyed. Great space, excellent swimming for children. Near to golf courses. Loved the deck. Suggest: obtain coffee pot with automatic shut off @ 2 hr.

Great Family Getaway

We're a family of six and we had an absolute blast. The cabin was comfortable with great views of the lake and plenty of space for us to spread out. Bear Lake is beautiful, with lots of shallow, sandy, and ultra-clear water. The kids had a great time swimmimg and paddle boarding just off the dock. It is located in close proximity to numerous Lake Michigan beaches as well as The Sleeping Bear Dunes, which makes it a perfect location to base out of. We would definitely come back again.

It was a great vacation get away. We thoroughly enjoyed the house and access to the lake. Having a paddle board and kayak for renters to use was a plus. The house was very modern with amazing views of the lake. Nick was a great host and was super responsive. I highly recommend you read other comments about the property as it was a great fit for us, but for those seeking solitude it may not be what you're looking for. For those looking to enjoy great views, modern conveniences, and lake living for a few days I highly recommend this property.

Lazy Bear Lake

Everything you need to make your Bear Lake vacation comfortable and easy. The remodel of this home was very intentional and every detail is addresed. Two separate living areas make this home perfect for both family and friends. Enough space for everyone to watch movies, play games, or find a quiet place to read a book. The kitchen is very well appointed with everything you need to feel like you are at home. Brand new appliances, washer and dryer, and furnishings make this home function seemlessly. The addition of a brand new composite deck makes Bear Lake sunsets even more beautiful to watch. The back dock is perfect for catching some sun, jumping on your Seadoo, or paddle board. Don't hesitate to book this property!

The house is clean and very updated - honestly, it felt like a hotel rather than a rental house! Bed was comfy, lots of extra pillows and blankets, and they even have white noise machines. They really thought of every little thing and it was such a delight to feel so taken care of. The parking could be tricky if you have a large truck, but we were able to park our larger SUV without issue - definitely back in to make it easier. The house is on a main road, so you do get some road noise from passing cars and trucks. It was noticeable but really didn't bother us. Weather was cold when we traveled so we didn't use the lake and the dock wasn't out, but we did use the back deck every morning and evening to enjoy the views. This was absolutely one of the best houses we've rented!

The perfect getaway!

From the very beginning Nick was on top of communication. If I had any questions he answered within minutes! The location was perfect for us and we enjoyed a couple day trips into Frankfort while we were there. It was super close to Ironfish Distillery that had amazing food and awesome outdoor games for the kids. The cottage was so cute and clean and had everything we needed! The driveway is a little tricky to get into during peak traffic hours but not impossible! The lake was PERFECTION!! The shallow swim area was probably 50 feet past the dock and was sandy/no weeds which was AWESOME when you’re keeping an eye on littles swimming. The amenities included the use of a kayak and paddle board that we all enjoyed. Can’t wait to stay here again!!

Fantastic Place!!

Agree with all the reviewers. Such a beautiful home and lake! Great hosts! Easy to communicate. Perfect amount of room for me and my husband and our 3 kids. My husband and I slept upstairs and they slept downstairs. Our daughter(18) had her own room and our 2 boys(12&15) shared a room. I might add the lower living room was so nice for our 2 boys to have their own space and place to watch tv at night. We enjoyed the use of the orange float mat, the kayak, the paddle board and the fire pit. The shallow part of lake is priceless. Bring all your floats and tubes and water games. We hiked every day. Beautiful sunset! Got some great pictures!

Beautiful property! Sunsets were amazing! Clean and as described. Amenities were awesome and greatly appreciated! Nick was awesome to work with. During the booking process, leading up to our stay and during our stay communication with Nick was very easy, prompt and smooth. Parking is as described. A little tight and best to back in but workable. Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed!
