Fawn Creek Hideaway a Mazama. Anni '60, 2 bagni / 2 bagni, baita

L'accesso agli sci invernali è raggiungibile in pochi minuti in auto, e le opportunità per passeggiate estive, escursioni a piedi e in bicicletta abbondano.

Fawn Creek Hideaway (un noleggio notturno legale autorizzato con un permesso sanitario della contea di Okanogan come richiesto dalla legge) fu costruito negli anni '60 da tronchi e legname prelevati dalla zona vicina. Fu una delle prime strutture nell'area dell'Edelweiss e servì da campo di cacciatori, completo di recinto per cavalli per gite nel paese di origine. È stato recentemente ristrutturato e ora ha interni ben rifiniti.
Fawn Creek Hideaway ha una cucina completamente attrezzata con lavastoviglie e forno a microonde, un bellissimo angolo colazione soleggiato chiuso di recente ristrutturazione e un soggiorno con camino a gas. TV / VCR / DVD, lettore CD, internet wireless e un grande ponte di intrattenimento con barbecue e tavolo per rilassarsi in questo ambiente alberato. Ho due letti matrimoniali e un divano letto.

Amazing property. The hammock and sauna were perfect after days of hiking. Property was beautiful and it had everything we needed and more. Would absolutely stay again.

This was the most well-stocked kitchen I have ever visited through VRBO. We could have cooked pretty much anything with the equipment available and the extensive spice collection. The entire home was cozy and comfortable. The sunroom provided a lovely place for family meals and the family room had plenty of seating without being crowded.After a day of hiking, we all thoroughly enjoyed the sauna.

The cabin was a wonderful home base while visiting Mazama. We stayed with our two teens and doggie. One of the cleanest rentals we’ve stayed in. Lots of comfortable places to spend time, inside and outside. A nice combination of comfortable, sometimes quirky, thoughtful touches and accommodations. The sauna was a great addition.

Fawn creek is a beautiful home. It was clean, comfortable, and it was the best stocked kitchen that I have ever been in. I enjoyed the art work. We had a great get away and 2 fabulous hikes in the North Cascades. We came back from the hikes to cooking wonderful meals on the grill and in the kitchen. I would highly recommend this place! Thank you again for hosting.

The cabin was the perfect place to stay for our group! Everything you would need for cooking was supplied. The beds were comfortable and the fold out couch was given the highest rating. The cabin was clean and met all our needs. It was nice to be close to Mazama for our early morning hikes. Be sure to buy a baguette at the Mazama store! Winthrop wasn’t too far away for a dinner out! Best of all, the cabin was pet friendly. We would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful vacation in a cozy cottage

Mazama, the Cascade Mountains and this well-kept, wonderfully comfortable, updated cabin right next to a creek in the woods was absolutely perfect. We spent an awesome 12 days of the summer enjoying a different day hike every single day in the Cascades. Thanks a lot for sharing your vacation home. We would love to return.

Cozy cabin in the forest

We had a very comfortable winter stay at Fawn Creek Hideway. The cabin was spacious for our family of 4 with many cozy spots to sit, read, and enjoy the forest views. The kitchen was very well-stocked which made cooking easy. The setting is beautiful, close to town and just a short trip to a ski trailhead. We had to pry ourselves away when it was time to check out.

Fawn Creek Hideaway

A week long stay to cross country ski the Methow valley trails. The location was great as access to trails was a short walk down the street hill. The place was as advertised. The only hiccup was the driveway had not been plowed and was icy underneath but there was a shovel and sand nearby.

Overall nice time

The cabin is great, exactly what you would want in a cabin. Location is not as private as described. There is a new cabin directly behind it and a new build going up next to it. Construction during the week wasn’t very relaxing but weekends were quiet.

Very clean, cozy and comfortable

The cabin had everything we needed. Clean and warm and quaint. No issues. A rarity but the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The beds were comfortable.Our dog loved romping and rolling in the snow. We are so grateful they allowed pets. It was so cozy that we rarely left and just enjoyed relaxing around the property and the cabin. We will definitely be back!

Lovely cabin

We were two couples sharing the house for a nordic ski getaway. The cabin was adorable and nicely appointed; we all enjoyed the artwork. The porch with the heated floor that contained the dining table and a comfortable couch for reading was a really fun spot. The kitchen was big enough for more than one person to work in, and was very well supplied with kitchen items. We especially enjoyed the nice outdoor sauna. The brook in the backyard was wonderful too. The beds were comfortable. There was a nice front deck that was sunny and would be fun in the warmer weather. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely make a return visit.

Charming, well-appointed, roomy log cabin

This is our second year staying at Fawn Creek Hideway. We come in late May/early June to bird watch. The cabin is convenient to Rte 20 and Mazama, you can hear the sound of Fawn Creek through open windows. There is a large set of common rooms - kitchen, living room, dining room - on the main floor, and a master bedroom upstairs with a lovely view of trees and the sound of birds. Fishing and hunting trophies, art and decor abound. There are wildflowers blooming on the lawn. Plentiful and quick hot water, a dishwasher that didn't quite work how we expected, laundry facilities - everything we needed!

Hideaway in the woods.

The property is just as described. Beautiful setting,quiet, nestled in the woods, close to hiking, biking, river rafting. It is clean, appointed comfortably and we had everything we needed. Plus our little dog was happy to be with us! Thank you to the owners for a wonderful stay. We will be back.

Excellent layout with everything you would ever need. Perfect home, good beds, comfy furniture.

We enjoyed the cleanliness and attention to detail such as plenty of tp and other amenities. We drove back and forth to Winthrop twice a day for roaming around then back again for dinner. Not many places to eat as several were closed up. Plan ahead for restaurants or just use the kitchen as they provide everything.

Comfortable Cabin with Outdoor Theme

We loved our stay at Fawn Creek Hideaway. When we weren't out hiking the trails we spent our time on the porch watching the hummingbirds and enjoying the space. Two of us slept in one of the two bedrooms and the third on the couch/bed in the living room. The kitchen was well supplied with all of the necessary cooking equipment such as pots, pans, coffee pot, tea kettle, dishes, glassware, etc. If the weather wasn't as good as it was, we would have spent our time in the breakfast nook. Such a lovely space. We would love to return in the winter for a cross country ski trip and an opportunity to try out the sauna.
