Healing Waters Lives Up to its Name

This waterfront home is well appointed, a wonderful location, and pet friendly. We enjoyed the view of the ocean along with the privacy from the dunes beach grass. This was our 3rd stay and we will be back!

Healing Waters

We had an awesome time! Really enjoyed staying by the water. Sunrise to sunset enjoyed on the deck. Crab boils, trigger fish and shrimp all week. The accommodations were superb. Plenty of room for Pop Pop and Ummi, the kids and grandkids. Could not have been better. Everybody had a great time. Coffee in the early morning on the boardwalk, then breakfast with the family and then the beach all day. Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect location and super easy check-in/out process! We had a fantastic time as a family for our beach vacation. We even got to see sea turtles born and excavation!

Great convenient spot right on the beach!

Clean and perfect beach retreat getaway for the weekend... Pet friendly house was just right for us and footsteps away from the surf.

Simple Retreat

The location was perfect for a quiet and simple beach getaway. No fancy Bella and whistles and the A/C struggled a little on very hot days, but the house was nicely furnished and had all of the kitchen and beach amenities that we needed.

Fall trip!

Great place on the beach! Loved the quiet atmosphere on the beach. The house was super clean and the host was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again! It was the perfect size for our group of four!

Healing Waters

We have been coming to Oak Island for years and I have been staying at Healing Waters for 4 years. It is always wonderful! The house is so quaint, peaceful, and on the beach!

Wonderful!

Ive stayed in many houses in Oak Island, this was one of my favorites. Cute little place in a great location, loved the close beach access. House was clean and had all the promised amenities, host was great with communication. Would definitely stay again!

Great Stay! Could use a little updating

We had a great time during our stay at Healing Waters. Everything was set for our stay and being on the beach was amazing. The house could definitely use some updates though given the cost you pay for your stay - the inside furnishings looks pretty worn and many cooking items in kitchen were put away dirty. For the cost, not sure we would stay here again.

Wonderful

We very much enjoyed the privilege of staying in this freshly renovated and tastefully decorated home. It has a beautiful ocean view, a very nice porch, and has a well-stocked kitchen for making family dinners. We had a very happy stay.

This was our 2nd year in this beach home and it was great. The house is clean, great location, and the host is awesome! She checks in and communicates with her guests.

Nice vacation!

Our family enjoyed the visit on Oak Island, NC. There was plenty to do but most of all, we liked having a house on the beach and staying together for a week! The itrip folks were helpful and prompt when we had any requests. We are happy to use them again to look into a family vacation stay. Unfortunately we had some stormy weather but still had a good time.

Oak Island and Healing Waters are the Best!

This is our second year at Healing Waters. It is just perfect for our family of 5. No frills, but nicely maintained and all we need to enjoy a wonderful stay at the beach. We love it here!!! The beach is beautiful and the island has a lot of offer. We love that it is close to Southport for great shopping. This place is great and we’re already booked again for next year!

Cozy accommodations

My family had a great time at Healing Waters on Oak Island. The beach wasn't busy. We had one issue with the guest toilet not working and they were there to fix it the same day. The house was clean. Thank you for providing us with a memorable vacation

Wonderful Location, but bring supplies.

Wonderful house and, great location!! The outdoor shower is perfect with the rain shower head! If you are staying longer then a week you need to buy extra toilet paper, trash bags, and paper towels. I wish it had a iron. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

So glad you enjoyed our new outdoor shower. We installed that this spring and it's a HUGE improvement over the rough plywood that we tore down! I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed by the supplies level. As explained in our House Manual, we provide par level consumables. If our guests plan on staying longer, they are responsible for providing those extras. Good to be able to re-emphasize this in our reviews, though.

Best beachfront stay in OKI!

Mary is the best host I’ve ever had! I’ve stayed in Oak Island for about six years now and she is hands down the most accommodating host. The house was extremely clean (this was such a relief because I have worked with the property management company on the island -iykyk- and things were not clean whatsoever in past rentals). Mary is attentive and her home is so cozy. Her and her home definitely made this the best OKI trip I’ve ever had. I highly recommend and will refer Mary and her home to everyone!

Taylor is the kind of guest every host hopes for but rarely gets. She was totally understanding when we had to schedule an A/C maintenance visit during her stay. We appreciate her taking such great care of our little cottage and hope to host her again soon!

Great location!!! Very cute cottage. Air conditioning was great. Shower curtain liner in the hall bath was really moldy, toilet didn’t flush well, and bedding was clean but stained and very worn. Coffee maker using pods did not work.

Healing Waters

This home was just what we needed for our week stay in Oak Island! We’ve stayed at several on the island over the years and this home far surpassed our expectations! Added bonus? The air actually works! Lol. It was in the perfect spot on the beach, the most relaxing deck with rockers & all in between! The property management was quick responses with whatever it was we needed as well! Book here. You won’t regret it. I can’t wait to come back next summer!

Peaceful Memories

We just returned from a 3 day trip to OKI . We had a wonderful time and made some wonderful memories. Our son was home from Switzerland to enjoy the time with us. We stayed at Healing Waters. What a perfect name for the place. Spent lots of porch sitting time,sipping coffee and reminiscing. Walks on the beach were peaceful and pleasantAll of this was smoothly facilitated by the wonderful staff of iTrip. We were welcomed and given a great orientation of the house. A nice welcoming package contained all the “start up” supplies we needed and was waiting for us. ITrip took care of all our needs and even exceeded our expectations. They made sure that we had everything we needed to insure a great time together. I can readily recommend iTrip for the arrangement of your next vacation. Warm regards and sincere thanks iTrip staff!
