We really enjoyed our stay at The Mollusk. Stephanie was very responsive throughout our stay and the house was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Our kids especially enjoyed the pool and the short walk to the dock. As noted in the listing, this home is perfect for people who want to get to know local Roatan and explore the island, and don’t need all the fancy comforts of a hotel or resort. We felt it was the perfect spot to access all areas of the island. Highly recommend this spot and really enjoyed our time here!

If you're looking for a place outside of the tourist spots, but still a reasonable drive anywhere this is the place for you! The pool, the view, and the privacy were amazing. This pool and porch area have been our favorite from all the places we rented in the Caribbean so far. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. We appreciated having the air con in the rooms at night. You will need a vehicle to stay here if you plan to see other parts of the island as taxis would be expensive.

Beautiful view at an amazing place

Great place. Quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the view all day. The property was well equipped with everything you need to cook. Grocery store was close by. We would stay here again.

A slice of heaven

The house was so perfect! Especially if you love to snorkel or scuba. The reef is breathtaking. I got the best photos. We cannot wait to go back!

The host was amazing and very responsive. The house was fully equipped with kitchen wear, soap, etc. which made for an easy stay. I wish there were hooks to hang towels, etc. but we managed just fine. We were 4 adults however the house would comfortably accommodate 6. Bring bug spray! You won’t be able to escape the little buggers. You definitely need a car (and the road is quite bumpy) but the house and views are worth it. Roatan is amazing and we look forward to returning to this re gal and the beautiful island.

Gorgeous Views. Amazing Host.

The views from the pool and patio area are amazing. We enjoyed looking out and watching the boats and wildlife. Stephanie is the best host we've ever had. She is incredibly responsive and so accommodating. Shortly after we booked our trip, she sent us a guide that was incredibly helpful in planning our trip.The house is very comfortable and well-equipped. We cooked in on several occasions and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Wonderful stay!

We had a great stay.-The view and pool were incredible! Pool temperature was a teeny bit chilly when you first get in but after a bit feels great. The kids were constantly in the pool. - location was nice. drive to the house was super bumpy. The last ten minutes is on dirt road that has a ton of huge potholes, so make sure to plan accordingly when getting your rental car. The drive through that countryside is beautiful though… passing by grazing cattle, etc. feels remote but not too far away from town. We felt safe and walked around a bit, like to the public dock across the street where you can jump in the water. - The kitchen appliances have seen better days (the oven needed to be replaced while we were there, the blender was rusted, etc), but I think that’s part of life right on the beach with all that salty air. Property management was super responsive, and even stopped by when the oven stuff was happening to make sure everything was ok.- wished there were different couches on inside. The outdoor furniture they have in there slips around and the cushions and the slippery fabric slides everywhere when you’re trying to sit down…just not comfortable.Overall, a very beautiful location to stay and the pool, privacy, and view made it worth it for us.

The host is excellent at responding. We had a great time. Here are the things I wish I knew ahead of time. The pool is deep. I couldn’t touch and was thankful to have a raft. There is a sitting ledge in the pool but it was too hot to be out of the water. There are stairs to the ocean but not all the way down. The snorkeling there looked great if u want to swim around from the community dock. It was too rough when we were. The road to the house is bumpy as heck. We just had a rental suv and that was fine though. They give u a 5 gallon jug of water with a pump which was great. No ice so grab it before u arrive. Or bring ice trays. WiFi worked great. We had such a good time and everyone around there was super nice. Easy check in and check out
