Once you enter Flip Flop Therapy, all your troubles are left at the front door. Suddenly, you are transported to a world of relaxation, pampering, and just plain family fun! This magnificent three-story, 7,000+ sq. ft home promises not to disappoint. This house leaves nothing behind, with 7 sleeping areas, 5 full baths, a game room, and even a candy shop!

Upon entering the custom-made double doors, you are immediately greeted by an open living space featuring floor-to-ceiling windows with expansive views of Lake Norman. The living room overlooks the lake with a sitting area perfect for observing the lake or watching TV. It's complete with two large comfy couches, a recliner, and a large TV for all to enjoy.

The main living space bursts with natural light, which promises an open and airy atmosphere. It also makes for a great place to spend the day with your loved ones. Just steps away, you will find yourself in the newly renovated kitchen featuring white quartz countertops, a large island with seating for four, modern light fixtures, and a beautiful tile backsplash. The open kitchen is fully equipped to handle any occasion, whether an elaborate holiday feast or feeding a growing family. It's easy to keep the kitchen stocked with all their favorite drinks and snacks in the spacious and convenient walk-in pantry.

The main level offers an inviting guest bedroom & ensuite full bathroom with a luxurious and coz Queen bed, perfect for retiring at the end of a busy lake day!

As we wander to the upper level, there are four bedrooms and three full baths, including the primary bedroom with an ensuite bath. The three remaining bedrooms, with attached bathrooms, are well appointed with new plush bedding and a secret closet in the kids' room stocked with toys that kids of all ages will enjoy! There is a queen en suite bedroom, king bedroom and bunk room with Jack and Jill Bathroom. The laundry room is one to be envied by all guests! Off the laundry room is a large gym area and office with two full Murphy beds for additional sleeping options.

The lower level is where the fun and games will take place! Did someone say Family Game Night? The large game room hosts a pool table, ping pong overlay, driving arcade game, and a pinball machine. The game room has a mini kitchen with a full-size fridge, dishwasher, microwave, and lake-friendly drinkware and serveware. At the end of the hall is a queen bedroom perfect for lake views and easy access to the back yard and the lake.

For the adults in your party, the game room also features a large bar with stools for 5 and a large-screen TV to watch the game! Don't forget to make a pit-stop at the stocked candy shop! Parents and kids alike will enjoy this special treat during the season's best flick or favorite sporting event!

Once outside, there are so many options for you to choose from. Lakefront, we start on the far left with the "Hammock House." Appropriately named, this screened-in shack hosts two large hammocks for all to enjoy while relaxing in the shade. Next to the Hammock House is a fire pit surrounded by new Trex Adirondack chairs, perfect for making S'mores and sharing lake day stories while watching the breathtaking sunset.

Adjacent to the fire pit is a wooden deck with a table and chairs surrounded by outdoor couches for lounging and being lazy - just what the doctor ordered! Further down the lakefront is a large dock & boat house. The dock is staged for tons of dockside entertainment. Please inquire about the 2017 16-passenger 150 Hp Tri-toon available for rent. For your convenience, there is a boat lift and 2 jet ski lifts if you should choose to rent. Conveniently located on the dock are all the fun lake toys, including a kayak, a paddle board, and an assortment of life jackets.

- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- This rental also offers a 1-person kayak, 2 kayak paddles, and 1 paddle board.
- No events, group gatherings, or parties are allowed at any AvantStay property under any circumstances.
- Due to natural fluctuations, we’re unable to provide specific water depth information at any given time. The majority of docks in this area are generally suitable for most average-sized pontoons and ski boats. However, since boat drafts can vary, guests are encouraged to refer to Lake Norman nautical charts, GPS systems, and depth maps—and rely on their own knowledge of their vessel’s specifications—to ensure safe navigation.
- Please note, the theater room is not currently accessible to guests as it is under construction.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.
