Perfect pace for an active couple. Literally 50 m from the ramp is the Lighthouse loop. As noted, about 100 m to the beach, which is a beautiful cove for sunsets and just relaxing and watching the waves. 2 km to downtown and the Pacific Trail hike.The place was great. A decent size studio with 2 burner cook top along with good appliances. No real deck, but who needs that with the beach so close.Overall, great stay for 5 nights!

Hike and boat fun

Enjoyed the stay in Ucluelet and was satisfied with the accommodations. Especially good was a wildlife cruise in the nearby islets.

Bryan was an excellent host and the place was perfect for our getaway. The suite was exactly as described and had everything we needed and more. Very nicely updated for a cozy, enjoyable stay. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. It is truly just steps to the beach and Lighthouse loop trail. We will absolutely stay here again!

Absolutely love Terrace Beach Cabins!

This was our second time staying in one of these suites and it was great! Extremely dog friendly space, the hosts provide bowls, towel, blankets and a treat for pups. Awesome lighthouse trail 2 minutes from the complex and amazing beach! Thanks again :)

Boardwalk luxury

Love the location and efficient suite. Didn’t get the architectural concept until researching the resort online where the simulated fish plant immediately brought me to the wharf and sea air of a different time. Quick access to the beach and Wild Westcoast Trail was nice. The Eagle nest above the boardwalk an extra treat.Nuance moment is to promote the boardwalk access as challenging. For an old guy there were too many stairs and the ramp blocked by construction did not help. I’m sure it was temporary. Easily a property I’d return to. And pet friendly helped.

The Sandpiper unit at Terrace Beach Resort provided a fantastic home base to explore Ucluelet and Tofino. Highlights include access to the Lighthouse Loop Trail and how quiet the area is- the only “noise” came from the birds! Although the adjacent beach is smaller (which also means not busy!) and not a swimming beach (the water is too cold for that anyway!), there were shorebirds, tide pools and beautiful sunsets surrounded by the rainforest. The unit was exactly as pictured- very clean and modern decor that celebrates the area without being kitschy. The local shampoo and soap provided was so good, we bought some in Ucluelet to take home! We didn’t do any meals in the unit because there are so many amazing restaurants in the area! We can’t wait to come back! Note: This unit is on an upper floor and has steep stairs to access so would not be suitable if you have limited mobility.

The place was nice. It had a small patio which was perfect for our dog. It kitchenette had what we needed to have breakfast in our room. The one downside was the bed. It was very hard, slightly lumpy, and place directly on a wood platform which offered no cushioning. There were only 2 washcloth's for 2 people staying 3 nights, which was insufficient, but everything else was very nice.

A peaceful oasis at the edge of town. Absolutely LOVED the area, being able to walk directly onto the beach, and wild pacific trail. If you want the beach experience without all the crowds, this place is perfect.They also put out dogs bowls, a blanket, and towel… which was such a sweet touch for my pup.The only thing I’d warn people about is the stairs. You’ll be going up 3 flights of stairs each time you come and go, so be prepared for exercise.Would definitely stay here again.

Endroit très propre, cuisine bien équipée, près d’une plage et du Pacific Trail.Difficile de trouver mon app. à mon arrivée. Aucun lieu d’accueil. Des touristes ont cherché pour moi.La communication avec le personnel se fait par message de façon très efficace.
