The floor of this house is a wreck! Buckling boards, soft spots galore! Calling the after hours help desk was no help. The second time I called them, they hung up on me. I could not connect the wifi the first day. Even the theater room was useless. Luckily the homeowner(?) called, and we got it, worked out on day two. All online now to watch football in the theater. All of the charm is on the inside. But NO closet rods or shelves in any room?

Charleston Stay

The home was great, everything there kept everyone happy. The kids loved the movie room and was a very quiet neighborhood.

Great place to stay!

We stayed at the Boroughs' really nice little house for our Spring Break with the kids and friends. The house has just been renovated and was squeaky clean from head to toe! The kitchen is very well equipped, there was plenty of space in the house with 4 bedrooms, and more beds that we needed. The plus: the kids loved the cinema/arcade room. Communication with the host has also been great, and it is a very good and quiet location to go downtown or visit all the plantations.

House was very welcoming and host was very responsive. Very cute charming little house with lots of room. Could have had some more utensils and better cooking supplies. Pots and pans seemed very old and burned. Also could have had some cleaning supplies available if you’re there for longer stay. Also, one thing to know if you are bringing dogs there are many dogs on the street. Loved the movie theater room. Within 20 minutes of downtown and many beaches so very convenient location.

The property was nice overall, and the location was great. It seemed like it took us 30 min to get wherever we wanted to go (e.g., Mt Pleasant, downtown Charleston, beach). The beds were comfortable and plentiful. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. We did have more need to contact the host than we have had at other rentals (e.g., WiFi password issue, front door issue), but the host was always responsive. It is worth noting that the movie/game room is in a separate structure at the back of the property ( 1 min walk). It should also be noted that the property isn't completely fenced, so those traveling with dogs will still need leashes.
