Great place to get away

The cabin, itself, is great. The hot tub was a joy for the kids, and playing cornhole was a nice activity. The way up is a bit...treacherous...but once you get past all that, it was a nice place to get away. It's not far from Pigeon Forge or downtown Gatlinburg.

Perfect Extended Weekend Getaway

We cannot say enough about our stay at this gorgeous property. The decor was stunning and the little extras were so welcome. Communication was phenomenal as the host checked in with us throughout the trip to make sure we had everything we needed. We loved the location and it was only about a 10 minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg. We saw MANY bears around the property and we all thought that was such a cool experience. The family loved all the natural light and had a ball using the karaoke machine, the hot tub and relaxing on the memory foam mattresses. We will be back! Thank you to the hosts for such a memorable experience!

The communication with the owner was awesome. If I had any question, David always responded immediately and was very helpful. The Chalet was immaculate. The beds were so comfortable. Everything was stocked when we arrived, which was so helpful, you always forget something when packing, but David had you covered. The property was as described, no surprises. We had bear cubs playing on the porch most days, which thrilled our granddaughter as well as us. We were close to Gatlinburg. Just a quick drive down the mountain. If you are thinking of renting this property for your vacation, just do it. You wont be disappointed.

Photos look nice, never got any closer.

Heads up, if you book this place and drive anything lower to the ground than a 4x4 truck, you’re not getting up the driveway.And when you’re forced to find another place for your 4 very small children to sleep after an already long day of travel, hopefully you’ve got extra cash because you’re not getting a refund, despite not even seeing the listing in person. Oh and when you explain that the driveway is inaccessible, be prepared to be met with “that sucks no refunds.”Absolutely wonderful, responsive, and helpful hosts until there’s a problem WITH THEIR PROPERTY” and you need a refund. For reference, the listing says “in clear conditions, property is accessible in a Prius. In the winter, a 4x4 may be required.” It’s in the mountains. Cool. I get that. If the driveway is a washed out pothole obstacle course the width of a bike lane, nah. So anyways now I’m out 2000 for a single weekend, really awesome way to spend Father’s Day with my kids. Thanks guys.

While most guests navigate it without issue, even in non-4WD vehicles, we recognize that unpredictable weather can make things challenging, and we deeply regret the impact this had on your stay.
