I recently stayed at this property, and overall, it was a pleasant experience, especially for the price. The location is excellent, and the place was very quiet, which made for a peaceful stay. The AC worked perfectly, keeping the space comfortable. The property seems to be in the middle of a remodel, which gave it a slightly odd vibe, but everything was clean. The kitchen and bathroom were spotless, although I did have to kill a large bug—expected for the South. The linens and towels were fresh, but the floor left much to be desired; after walking around for just 20 minutes post-shower, my feet were black from the dirt. The furniture, particularly the couches, was a bit odd. They were quite low, and if I were any older, I might have struggled to get up. The check-in process was very smooth and hassle-free, but there were some issues with the entryway. After a rainstorm, the inside portion of the entry flooded, likely due to poor sealing around the flooring. Overall, this is a great place to stay for the price, but some improvements could be made to enhance the comfort and cleanliness.

USC move in

We stayed for a short weekend. Safe place to park and leave the car filled with luggage. We wish the beds were more comfortable but otherwise a nice stay.

Quiet and restful stay

Kira’s loft is a hidden gem not too far from post (Ft. Jackson) and downtown. The loft is tucked away in a very quiet neighborhood. We all slept peacefully and rested well on our short-lived R&R. We took advantage of watching a movie or two on the large screen TV. The seating was very comfortable and cozy. Everything in the loft was exactly as described in the listing. Thank you Kira for the memories and fun getaway. I loved it and will be back in the near future.

Guys golfing trip

Quick one night trip. We arrived late and left early the next day, but the accommodations were great. The place looked brand new. Would highly recommend.

Great location and large space

Great location. Very prompt replies/communication. Large space. Very private. Came to town to help our son in law move out of his apartment. Brought 2 cars to load up and we were able to park both cars right out front.

Son’s graduation

We stayed here for my son’s graduation from Fort. Jackson. It was a great! Cute neighborhood, plenty of space and close to everything. Would absolutely stay again!

Great find, right next to Fort Jackson

Everything was great. Would definitely stay again and recommend over a hotel if you have multiple people, or need a place to bring your graduating soldier to cook them some home made food and just relax.

Review of kira's loft

Nice, newly constructedi facility. The furnishings are nice but i found myself wanting a chair to sit in while watching the really nice tv / entertainment system. Otherwise i was happy with the facility. Great location, private, entry. I would stay there again. I did have to extend my stay by one day which cost me a second cleaning fee even though i had not left the property. Not sure if thats on vrbo or on the host.

A few days in Columbia

Great location, quiet and secure with parking off the street. Great communication with quick responses. The description and pictures are accurate. Very clean. If we have reason to visit Columbia area again, we will look to stay here. Highly recommended.

Fantastic apartment in Columbia!

Beautiful, nice quiet neighborhood! Location is perfect for all highlights in Columbia. We were in town for a concert at Colonial Life Arena. It was only 10 minutes from the apartment. The apartment has a nice big living room! There were 4 adults, my baby granddaughter and our dog, and we had plenty of room. The beds were super comfortable!The host is very accommodating and answers any questions you may have promptly. I highly recommend staying here when you’re visiting Columbia!

Convenient and safe

We needed a place to crash for one night while in town for some South Carolina events. This was a conveniently located space just minutes from five points. This apartment was in a great neighborhood giving us comfort knowing this was a great area.

Great Location

We stayed here to attend my Son's Graduation at Fort Jackson. Our host was very accomidating. Response to any questions is almost immidiate. The flat is unfinished, about 90 percent complete. Currently in the midst of construction, mainly the stairs. but it doesn't take away from the awesome theater room/living room, the open concept kitchen/dining room. The location is very convenient and close to all entertainment, shopping, museum, University, and Fort Jackson. The neighborhood is beautiful and safe. I highly recommend this place.

Double cleaning charge

The property is nice. It needs better furnishings. I added one day to my stay (it went from a nine day stay to a ten day stay) and was hit with an additional cleaning (host) fee even though i had not checked out yet. I felt like i should only have had to pay a cleaning fee once since i only checked out once.
