Adorable and comfortable cottage on a quiet dirt road. Close enough to town that made it easy to get groceries or go out to restaurants. We came to see the Mt Washington Hillclimb and it was a perfect retreat to return to in the evening to relax on the deck with our dog. Deanna was a great host and everything we could have needed was available. We had a wonderful stay!

Amazing hidden gem of a home ! So close to StoryLand and other wonderful spots up here. Host was amazing, very responsive and everything in the home was clean. The neighborhood was very pleasant and my kids and dog enjoyed the Sacco River beach access! Would 100% recommend and stay again

Loved our stay

We loved Deana's chalet. It's a lovely place, nicely updated with loads of character and so very cosy! Beds were comfortable, host was very responsive and accommodating, and location was perfect. We will definitely stay here again!

Great getaway with the family. Nice private and cozy. Myself wife, 2 sons early twenties and our 2 dogs had a relaxing time at the property. River access and updated chalet sold us. Gnome trail was a bonus. Family enjoyed swimming in the river although colder than I expected . Private bedrooms, cozy family room and the dogs loved sitting on the deck looking and sniffing through the railing. Close to North Conway for restaurants. Wonderful host.

This was our second summer staying at Hideaway Haus and hopefully not our last! We love it here. Super clean, well equipped, great location. I cannot recommend enough 1. This property! and also 2. Going to the same place year over year, especially with kids. It felt like a home away from home, knowing exactly what to expect. Last year I had mentioned in my review about the scented linens and I kid you not this year they had unscented laundry detergent. I’m super duper sensitive to smells, I know it’s ridiculous but I was honestly over the moon, it made a great place into the *perfect* place.

Lovely home close to a great swimming hole

My family and I really enjoyed this home. It was conformable and clean. The kids got a kick out of the bunk beds and having their own tv’s. The neighborhood was very peaceful. We had everything we needed after a long day of exploring! We wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Would definitely be looking to stay here again! Lovely little cottage, and the river access is GORGEOUS — way exceeded our expectations and made us wish we’d booked another day just to enjoy that. Super convenient to StoryLand, local grocery store, Diana’s Baths, etc. The kids loved the bunkbeds (with TVs! they lost their minds). Kitchen was very nicely equipped, and bathroom was impeccably clean. The outdoor space is adorable. Laundry facilities were super handy for wet swimsuits. Extra love for a pet-friendly rental, our dog had a great stay as well and enjoyed the river and the gnome trail. As someone ultra sensitive to scents, I found the laundry smells a little overwhelming (though nowhere near as bad as some rentals I’ve stayed in!) - a heads up to others who struggle with this. The rest of family found it fine/lovely.
