Erica, I am happy to hear that the Cottage is all that is was expected to be and more :). The good thing about Maine is that despite the drive time to get to places, there is always something beautiful to see along the road; wildlife, bodies of water, flowers, etc. Also am happy for you that you got to experience some time in Acadia! It is so breath takingly beautiful. We hope to help to assist in any future vacations. Acadia is known to be a top spot to visit during the fall season as well with all the fall colored leaves that mirror off the water. Have a wonderful rest of your summer! Cheers! :)

Wow, I wish you would have reached out for these simply solutions to your perfect vacation. I checked in with you, and left my number on all emails and in the guest book. I am so close to the house! We have extra pillows if the 9 ones there are not acceptable, we have extra fans if the 3 there are not enough, we have extra lobster pots if you did not find one there. Hope that you were able to make some yummy dishes and put it to good use. In regards to the key, I apologize if there was any inconvenience there with not having access to a second key. Happy to hear though that even with that, the stay was a pleasurable one and that you were able to enjoy some of the beauty of Maine :)

I am hoping you visited Carters Beach, 3 miles from the house. Schoodic Point? A part of Acadia National Park that is a must see! Ellsworth? 5 miles with lots of restaurants, antique shops, and things to do. I am sure you saw this, it is all in the guest book at the house. Were you able to use the firepit under the clear Maine skies? Take in the waterfront or seaglass hunt in front of the house? I hope so!!
