Bright suite in Vibrant Fernwood
Welcome to Victoria, the capital city. This 1 bedroom suite is walking distance from downtown Victoria and located in a vibrant neighbourhood called Fernwood; surrounded by shopping, restaurants, coffee shops and a thriving entertainment district. The suite is located on the lower level of a family home and has a queen bed styled with modern furniture and decor. The suite can accommodate up to 2 guests. The neighbourhood is a walkers paradise, very bikeable and has excellent public transit.
This lower level suite is suitable for up to 2 quiet guests and is set up to offer longer term stays. The suite has a private entrance and offers street parking at no cost.
The suite is bright and cozy and has a modern urban vibe.
The bedroom has a queen bed dressed in modern linens. There is a closet in the bedroom that offers storage space to accommodate longer term stays.
The bathroom has a tub/shower combo.
The kitchenette is equipped to prepare basic meals and has a microwave and induction burner to prepare hot food. There is a mini fridge to store food, toaster, kettle and french press. There is no stove/oven or dishwasher. Kitchen essential includes a kettle and a French Press. Longer term guests are welcome to bring their own favourite small appliances and kitchen gadgets.
There is a dining set with 2 chairs that can double as a work space for guests who work mobile.
The living room has a smart TV and loves seat, suitable for 2 people.
There is no washer/dryer in the suite, guests will need to take laundry off site to be laundered.
The suite is not suitable for children.

The suite is available for rent with a 30 night minimum stay. I offer longer term stays that include up to 6 months at a time. Please contact me for more information about longer term stays.
Coffee and tea are provided to get guests start on their stay.
Guests are responsible for bringing their own toiletries such as shampoo/conditioner/body wash and paper products for the bathroom and kitchen.
NOTE: Toilet paper and paper towel will be provided to gets started on their stay.
Bed linens, towels, dish towels/clothes are provided.
When the weather is nice, guests are welcome to set up the outdoor bistro table and chairs and sit on the concrete patio that is located outside the suite.

There is a set of concrete stairs leading to the suite that may not be suitable for guests with mobility restrictions
Guests will use a keyless entry system for self check-in and check-out

Guests will correspond with a member from the guest services team.
Fernwood is a vibrant neighbourhood near downtown Victoria, BC with a strong sense of community and beautiful historical infrastructure. At the heart of the neighbourhood is Fernwood Square, at the corners of Gladstone and Fernwood Roads – a community gathering place and home to the Fernwood Inn, the Belfry Theatre and more.
Fernwood is located just east of downtown Victoria, bordering the Rockland neighbourhood to the south, Oaklands neighbourhood to the north, and Oak Bay to the east.
No vaping, smoking, or cannabis use in the house or on the property
The suite is located in a residential neighbourhood, no parties or loud music
The home owners live above the suite
There is no laundry in the suite
